Fact is all banks got. Millions of Nigerians got BTA, PTA and paid for business transactions and foreign school fees at that rate. Even some individuals were using their Dom acc to collect dollars at CBN rate and sell to aboki. Like he said, Dangote is not the problem. If NNPC fix the four refineries, Dangote will not be a monopoly. How will local businesses grow if Govt agencies are stifling them? Nobody stopped other people from building refineries. All of them that President Jonathan gave license to build, only Dangote made serious effort to establish a refinery. Most of them are still importing fuel.

Dangote wanted to monopolised oil refinery and insisted that Tinubu should revoke all the licences issued to other entrepreneurs to import petrol. Forex was allocated to him even less than official market rate by Elemi Emere but he has the guts to say the FG didn't assist him in anyway. The idiot was even selling the Forex to his aboki friends.

I respectfully disagree with Obi on this issue.

Dangote is not fighting for us, he's fighting for his own pocket as usual. Dangote wants to be the sole supplier of Fuel in Nigeria and we know his history. What is the price of cement? FG has been so supportive of Dangote since 1999 to the detriment of other businesses.

If the rumours are true and Tinubu doesn't want Dangote to be the only player in the downstream, then I stand with Tinubu on this matter.

Let's calm down and reason.

It doesn’t work like that. Understand the issues first. Tinubu and some people in his government are part of the whole scam. They’re paying X amount of money for subsidy secretly to their own cartels so they could have monopoly in importing petroleum products. Even if Dangote should crash prices, they would only dip hands into the vault and collect more funds to pay for the increased difference. At the end only Dangote loses because the money the rogue politicians are using to subsidize isn’t their own, but belongs to Nigeria.

If Tinubu isn’t such a useless criminal, this is what an executive order can easily enforce. If they can mandate local content in the past, why not local supply to Dangote?

This country is nothing but the world’s largest crime scene!
