After a successful outing in 2018 with the release of his debut album “Greatness Album“, Nigerian pro Disk Jockey – DJ Neptune, opens 2019 with a decent piece dubbed “Demo” featuring high profile singer Davido.

The song was produced by prolific producer – Speroach Beatz, mixed and mastered by Mix Monster.

DJ Neptune is expected to release his sophomore album tagged “Greatness II; The Sounds Of Neptune” later this year.

Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar on Sunday left the door open for a potential move to Spanish giants Real Madrid.

The world’s most expensive footballer is currently recovering from a foot injury which he suffered on January 23 and has been linked with a return to La Liga ever since joining PSG from Barcelona in 2017. “In the future, everything is possible,” he told Brazilian television channel Globo.

“I’m not saying I’m going to Real Madrid, calm down. Everybody knows I have already accomplished my dream which was (playing for) Barcelona.

“Real Madrid is one of the biggest teams in the world, every player perceived to have an interest in the club wants to play for them.

Right now I’m very happy in Paris.” Neymar said Barcelona’s Lionel Messi had sent him his regards after hearing about the Brazilian’s most recent injury.

The woman who bailed embattled singer R Kelly out of jail a few weeks ago has reportedly received a bomb threat at her one-time workplace, a day care.

According to CBS Chicago reporter Brad Edwards who tweeted about this on Sunday, multiple people reported a bomb threat on Saturday at a local daycare Valencia P. Love either currently works at or used to work at.

”Edwards goes on to report that Chicago PD doesn’t have anyone in custody and that the local bomb and arson squads cleared the scene. Cops are currently investigating the bomb threat.

It’s unclear if Edwards means that multiple people called in to make the bomb threat themselves, or if multiple people called in to report that a bomb threat had been made. Either way … it’s terrifying to think about.

Interestingly, the status of Love’s employment at the daycare is a bit hazy. She’s reportedly still listed as a “registered agent” there with the Illinois Secretary of State. But, according to local outlets, the daycare itself and the Dept. of Children and Family Services says Love no longer works there.

You’ll recall … Love posted the $100k bond R. Kelly needed to get out jail in Chicago last week. She also posted a lengthy statement afterward, saying R. Kelly wasn’t a monster … and that she was inclined to believe he’s innocent of the charges he’s facing.

What’s morbidly ironic here … a gun threat was called in just a few months ago during the NYC screening of “Surviving R. Kelly” … which cleared the building and postponed the event. Law enforcement sources told TMZ at the time that a person of interest with a Chicago area code was being looked into.”

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Lagos Mainland Federal Constituency, Mr Jide Jimoh, as winner of Saturday’s election.

Prof. Iyiola Oni , the Returning Officer of the election announced the result at the Federal Constituency Collation Centre located in St. Agnes Primary School, Sabo-Yaba, at about 5:45 am on Monday.
Oni, the Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Lagos, said that Jimoh polled a total of 22, 073 votes to defeat his closest rival from the Peoples Democratic Party, Tajudeen Agoro who got 16, 834 votes.

Oni said “At the end of the exercise, Jimoh Abdulraheem Olajide of APC, having satisfied the requirements of the law and scored the highest number of votes is hereby declared the winner and he is returned elected,” he said.

According to him, Sherifat Ogbola of Accord Party scored 40 votes, Balogun Usman of AD polled 88 votes, Olugbenga Shobowale of ADC polled 212 votes while Olaide Abiodun got only 5 votes.

Oni said that Olorunwa Ogunsemore of MPN scored 21 votes, Adewunmi Ogunlola of PPN got 45 votes, Kayode Hadiza of SDP scored 24 votes while Oluwatoyin Akande of YES party got 31 votes.

He said that the total number of votes cast was 42, 838, total valid votes was 40, 253 while the total rejected votes was 2,585.

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, has expressed dissatisfaction with INEC over the late arrival of election materials in the riverine areas.


Secondus, who cast his vote at 4:25 p.m. in Ward 5, Unit 19 in Ikuru Town, Andoni LGA, told newsmen that INEC’s delay was a deliberate attempt to ruin elections in the riverine area.

He said that he got information that even in Bonny, materials were also delivered about the same time, 4 p.m.


Secondus also urged INEC to ensure that all eligible voters with PVCs were allowed to vote whether or not their cards were authenticated by the card reader.

Fomer Rivers Deputy Governor, Mr Tele Ikuru, also decried the late arrival of materials.

He said that even in the past, riverside communities had not experienced such delay in material delivery.

The agent of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) assigned to President Muhammadu Buhari’s polling unit 003, Kofar Baru III (A and B) Daura, Katsina State, disappeared from the unit shortly before the commencement of the counting of votes.

Reports have it that the presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Muhammadu Buhari, scored 523 votes while his main challenger, Atiku Abubakar of PDP, got three votes and Accord Party scored four votes.

The PDP agent was nowhere to be found when the counting process started.

The senatorial candidate of the Accord Party, Mohammed Lawal Nalado, however, scored 262 votes at the polling unit while the APC candidate, Ahmed Kaita, scored 247.
