Rough calculations tho.

Now Niger delta received 13% that is
N28.496billion, if I'm to do it equally, we have 9 oil producing states that means they received 3.166billon each.

Out of the States money (185.744). 40% were given to all states equally.
Our 40% is (185.744 * 0.4) = 74.298billion divided by 36 states = 2.06383333billion each.

The rest is determined by landmass / Population etc.

I'm from an oil producing state (Akwa Ibom state to be precise)
Governor Udom almost stopped paying minimum wage because according to him "the money the state receives is now low) if not for the intervention of NLC.
Now my question is, the previous allocation was low (547 billion) but the sum of 37 billion was shared to the oil producing states while the present allocation has increased (651 billion) but oil producing states have received just 28 billion.
why is this so?

the misconception they normally have is that since ilaje are fishermen and they live by the shores, they normally see them as ijaws since ijaws are fishermen as well.
when i was serving in akwa ibom i came across the ilaje settlers in Akwa Ibom as they are fishing by the shores and they were communicating amongst themselves in Yorubas and when I asked them they confirmed to me that they are Yorubas.
even the (Ijaw) Apoi community in Ondo are settlers
