Their Bishops will tell the President, Nigerians are hungry, but they haven't stopped the same Nigerians they say are hungry from bringing offering, tithes, and contributing money for projects in the church in their poor state and during this Covid period. They said, why should govt Increase taxes, electricity tariff and fuel pump price, but they haven't stopped collecting taxes, and Tithes from their congregations, they still tax them and command them to bring fat offering so that they the work of the Lord will continue. Do they mean that the poor among them do not deserve tithe, and offering holidays as they too want the government to do. Why do they want the government to do what they do not want to do. Let the church lead by example by asking people to come to the church, worship God, and go home without bringing tithes, and Offering, they should even feed and distribute clothings to them, that was exactly the example Jesus demonstrated when the people were hungry during famine. Jesus didn't send the people away to the government, but he fed them. When will the church set Christian Community Bank that will give Non Interest loans to the Christian Communities in Nigeria, so that the poor will be touched directly. These are ways the Christian body will help in cushioning the effects of Covid-19, and not by standing on their altar and dishing out empty curses. Let the church be the light of the world, and not mouth piece of the devil. |
A man whose Attorney General and Chief Law Officer of the country was murdered in cold blood wants the world to believe Nigeria is becoming a failed state under the watch of another man that is doing all he failed to do for 8years. Under him a serving Governor was kidnapped by thugs and Supreme Court judgements had to wait for him to approve. Nigeria was not a failed state then. When Nigeria was strong, buoyant and rock solid under him he was using Presidential jet to carry militants blowing up oil installations in Niger-Delta to Abuja for appeasement. When Nigeria was buoyant and had no security challenges under him, he used soldiers to level up communities. When Nigeria was oasis of religious harmony under him there was no religious crisis but he was so happy with Christian Association of Nigeria that he shouted "CAN my foot" in one of his trouble shooting visits to Jos in 2004. These things are, apparently, very easy to forget after office. When Nigeria's diversity was properly managed under him it was just to appoint people into positions for 'feel good effect' and it does not matter whether hapless Nigerians had good roads and other critical infrastructure to drive the economy and enhance quality of living. So, the man under whose watch Nigeria is now becoming a failed state is the one doing all he failed to do in his 8 years and another 8years of two Presidents he worked so hard to install. Interestingly, he covets being called the Nigeria's most 'de-tribalised leader' but his own charity does not begin at home. In his South West region, during his 8 years, the country's premier ports at Apapa and all access roads to them collapsed. During his 8years Lagos-Ibadan Express failed. During his 8years, Lagos-Abeokuta Express failed. He couldn't fix same road that connects his ancestral home, farm, group of schools and home town. During his 8 years, Ikorodu-Sagamu road became impassable. During his 8years he didn't remember to do rail between Lagos and Ibadan. Under the man that is turning Nigeria to a failed state, as at today, work is going on at a frenetic pace on Apapa-Oshodi-Oworonshoki-Alausa Toll gate road, Lagos-Ibadan Express, Lagos-Abeokuta Express and Ikorodu-Sagamu Express among others. A rail line from Lagos-Ibadan is at final stage of completion. Now that Nigeria is failing, it should be noted that all these projects are in South West, the same place where the 'saviour' who couldn't save himself came from. It should also be said that when Nigeria was very good under 'our saviour', during his 8years, his government sacked Nigeria Airways workers, Nitel workers and didn't pay their benefits and pensions. Whereas the man under whose watch Nigeria is failing, government paid all inherited workers benefits, paid pensioners including those 'the saviour' sacked. I still struggle to understand the logic of this so-called failed country narrative under the leadership of a man who is doing what his predecessors failed to do, across the entire country, under the most challenging circumstances of low revenue since he took over office. Why a former leader thinks publicly haranguing successors is the best way to contribute to public affairs should be of serious concern for political scientists to unravel.

QUESTION OF THE DAY: 1. PMB WORKED WITH CHUBA OKADIGBO IN 2003 AND IGBO DID NOT VOTE FOR HIM. 2 PMB WORKED WITH EDWIN UMEZUOKE IN 2007 AND SUFFERED BETRAYAL THEREAFTER. 3 PMB WORKED WITH MIKE AHAMBA AND OTHERS IN 2011 AND NOTHING HAPPENED AND IN FACT AHAMBA LEFT HIM. 4 IN 2015 PMB WORKED WITH ASIWAJU BAT AND SOUTH WEST AND CLINCHED THE TICKET WITH MINIMAL VOTES FROM IGBOLAND 5 IN 2019 PMB STILL WORKED WITH ASIWAJU IN THE SOUTH WEST AND WON WITH MINIMAL VOTES FROM IGBOLAND. If you were to be PMB what will you do?

WHEN JONATHAN SET ASIDE N100bn FOR RUGA, BEING THE FULANI GRAND PATRON, I DIDN'T HEAR "THEM" PROTESTING. WHY NOW?

BOOM In 2002, Bombs blasted Ikeja Cantonment, which led to the death of 1,000 people. For 13years, FedGovt promised to build new accomodation, but delivered "paperwork" In 2016, BUHARI ordered the construction of new dwellings, and now 288 new flats have been built, with plans for more.

IPOB godfather is now the lawyer defending Atiku who together with OBJ neglected Biafra Soldiers for 8yrs against PMB who paid Biafra Soldiers Entitlements.... No wonder PMB is always coming out victorious against his haters.

- If FG wants to build factories in your state today, you won’t claim their is no land for factories. - If FG wants to build international market and give to traders free of charge today, you won’t claim there is no land - If FG wants to establish free Universities in your state, you won’t claim there is no land. - None of the stuff I mentioned above has the capacity to employ and generate 1/100 of the revenues and employment opportunities ranching & proper breeding of cows will generate for Nigeria. Hate has blindfolded us. - There are over 26 million of cattle in Nigeria today, valued at over $16billion according to FAO, a United Nations Agency. That is about N5.7trillion. That’s more than 60% of 2018 budget. - Before crude oil took over as the highest source of revenue for Nigeria, lives stock was solely the bed rock of Nigeria’s revenue. The very reason you see herders and their cows behind some Naira notes and on some post office stamps as a symbol of our main source of revenue generation. - The mistake we did that led to over dependence on crude oil which of course left Nigeria as a mono economy today. We now have a president who wants to correct that terrible mistake, create job opportunities, solve herders vs farmers clash and increase revenue, but hate will not let us. - If your state will have land for factories, it should have land for ranching except you’re just stupid like that. |
Imagine if this guy was from APC... PDP would have run to UN. CAN would have run to EU. Secondus would be on air chatting how democracy has been in pain. FFK would have called for a world press. AIT would made it a BREAKING NEWS for years. Obasanjo would have been shedding tears how democracy is in danger hence resume his letter writings Ndi Biafra would have been on street in there thousands seeking 4 justice. Wike would say, "we are in war situation. Kukah and CAN of Worms would say, Christians are no longer save in Nigeria. Suleman would call for a night of more seed sowing in Church against any future molesters. TY would ask America to topple Buhari Government. Atiku would fly her abroad 4 medication and read out how he can make Nigeria to work again. Ohaneze and Afenifebi would have jointly held several world conferences and countless press releases shun out. PMB must have been told to resign unconditionally for a sin he did not comit. Wike would have donated 200 million to the shop owner

RUGA means RURAL GRAZING AREA. It's not a Fulani word. They won't pay you for being dumb so stop being fluent in ignorance and gullibility

BOOM “I believe that the best solution to the farmers/herders clashes is to try and enlighten our herdsmen on the use of feeding lots. These feeding lots can conveniently be established all over the country.” - Atiku Abubakar, during Khadaria Ahmed's #NgTheCandidates Me: Students, what is a feedlot? A feedlot is a confined area with watering and feeding facilities, where cattle are fed for the purpose of beef or dairy production. Cattle raised in feedlots are highly nutritious and are fit for export...

People of God, Lagos on the average consumes between 7000, 8000 and 9000 cows par day depending on where you source your data from, but I want to use the mean figure Average cost of a Cow is put at N180,000 Now the arithmetics N180,000 x 8000 = N1.5b In 1 year : 365 x N1.5b = N525.6b Lagos alone consumes average of $1.5b of cows annually, can Nigeria economy feed Lagos alone if we have to import cows This is a National disaster starring us in the eye. Wailers don't care if this country boil, they wants a satisfaction of saying: Didn't we tell you?
|
BOOM Cattle rearers come to the south because we southerners eat a lot of cow meat. Lagos alone eat 10,000 cows daily. In economics, business location is consumer dependent.... They did not come to steal land, they come to make money. But as long as we kill 10,000 cows a day in Lagos alone, Ruga or no Ruga, by fire by force, those who sell cows will find their ways to where their customers are! However, if the Southern Governors mean business, they should make a law that anyone who eats cow meat will face firing squad. All these problems will be solved.
|
If your argument is that cattle farming is individual trade, then you still have no argument. You are simply a hating bigot. Your anger is Buhari and Fulani. In this country, the Igbos have a monopoly of motor spare part trade.
|
Sokoto, Adamawa, Nasarawa, Kaduna, Kogi, Taraba, Katsina, Plateau, Kebbi, Zamfara and Niger are the 11 states that have volunteered to donate land for implementation of Ruga. Is your state listed? If not, do yourself a huge favour - shut up. We have seen government invest much in building spare parts market all over the nation. Up-to setting up free export zones. RUGA is of the same thought. Consider it as a market. If you argue that anyone can do spare part business, who then stopped you from rearing cattle?

Before the emergence of Goodluck Ebele Jonathan as president, the likes of Ankio Briggs, Asari Dokubo, Opunabo Nkot 'Tariah, Ledum Metee, Edwin Clark etc were always on Television telling Nigerians and the world how the South-South has been marginalized by the North and the West despite her oil. By divine and metaphysical error, Goodluck Jonathan from the South-South, the presumed Nazareth of Nigeria became the president of Nigeria after President Umaru Yaradua's death in 2009. His emergence came as a joyous daybreak to end our age-long marginalization . There was a beacon light of hope for my region. Immediately, the Niger Delta struggle stumbled and died or gone Comatose. The Niger Delta activists mentioned above became Jonathan's spokespersons and abandoned the struggle. In 2011, Nigerians, Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo, Christians and muslims voted massively for Jonathan. Thereafter, administrative thieves were appointed Ministers and head of federal institutions... Convicted criminals received presidential pardon. Militants were given contracts running into billions of Naira. Impunity and corruption became the norm. All these and many more replaced the Niger Delta struggle for resource control. The need for constant electricity, portable water, good health facilities, good road network, massive manpower development etc went into oblivion. Even the recent Ogoni UNEP report that would have changed the live of an average Ogoni man was not implemented by their regional brother - president. Recall that NDDC was established by Olusegun Obasanjo a Yoruba man. Ministry of Niger and Amnesty Office was established by Late, President Umaru Musa Yaradua, a Northerner. Regrettably, this two federal agencies including NIMASA and NNPC became conduit pipes for Jonathan's Wife, Nyesom Wike, Deziani Allison, Godswill Akpabio and many cronies of Jonathan to rape and siphon funds meant for the development of the Niger Delta region. Credibility died. Equity died. Competence died. Due process died. Conscience died. And the Niger Delta struggle died in their son's hand. Former Governor Rotimi Amaechi, knowing that the South - South may not have the opportunity of Producing the President of Nigeria again cried out and they called him a betrayer. They fought him with federal might and pushed him out of PDP, a replicate of what Joseph's brothers did when they sold him to the Ishmelites. But today Amaechi is laughing because they pushed him to stardom. Even the East/ West road that was awarded by former President Obasanjo and inherited by Yaradua and later Jonathan is still not completed. Bayelsa State today does not have an airport or a strong federal government institution that can generate employment opportunities for Bayelsa youths. Even the 31 industries promised the Akwa Ibom people, none was built. Few months to the Presidential election, Ankio Briggs, Asari Dokubo, Edwin Clark, Nyesom Wike, Godswills Obot Akpabio,Tompolo Government, Kingsley Kuku, etc awaken the Niger Delta struggle. What a shame? What an irony? For five years nobody heard them because they were swimming and sleeping on money. When Goodluck Ebele Jonathan eventually contested and lost the 2015 Presidential election to Gen. Muhammadu Buhari of the APC, the House of Assembly of all South-South states became a compensation point for militants ( Former and Active). Everything was done with the police and INEC to ensure that cronies of Jonathan and his wife were declared winners of the governorship and House of Assembly elections in the South-South especially Rivers State, Akwa Ibom and Bayelsa. And if Jonathan had won the last election and ruled for another ten years, there won't be any hope for the actualization of the Niger Delta Struggle. Go to Calabar Itu road, Oloibiri and other villages in Ijaw land and see the level of environmental degradation yet their son was president of Nigeria for six years. People are living a stone-age life over there, no land to build a house, no pipe burn water, no hospital, no school and no road yet some people will seat in Abuja and Portharcourt collecting billions of Naira as Champions of the Niger Delta struggle. As I pen down my thought, I know that we have eaten our cake and we may not have it back. We had the opportunity but we messed it up. If President Buhari remembers us, good, but if he forgets us, I will not complain. And those who has decided to go back to the creeks and mangroves of Niger Delta to resume the armed struggle and hostilities; should know that President Buhari has enough shoes to match them unlike Jonathan who had no shoes. Niger Delta will not boil, Tompolo should do the needful by making himself available for interrogation, if he is clean he would be left alone. |
In 2014, GEJ budgeted 100b for Ranching across the country. Like many projects, it has never seen anywhere and nobody dare ask or cry for Any Fulani stuff. Buhari came in 2015. You said, Fulanis are the source of insecurity in Nigeria. He said, OK. Let's provide a lasting solution to this menace by restricting their movement. Thus; 1- Gracing route =No 2- Cattle colony =No 3- Ranching =No 4- Ruga =No The FG agreed with your 'NO' but ask if there's any state that will volunteer to donate a land which 11 states from the north, YES from the north have volunteered to provide land for the RUGA. Yet, you are still shouting and crying for this as well. However, you have a market which is also own by the government and you go about your businesses everywhere in Nigeria without any harassment or intimidation. But you don't want others to have this privilege. I ask, what do you really want?

Fallen Sudanese leader Omar al-Bashir was Sunday seen in public for the first time since being ousted, as he was driven in an armed convoy to the prosecutor’s office. The former strongman, who ruled his east African nation with an iron fist for three decades, was toppled on April 11 after weeks of protests against his reign.wq Dressed in a white traditional robe and turban, Bashir rode in a heavily-armed convoy from the notorious Kober prison in the Sudanese capital Khartoum to be quizzed by prosecutors for alleged corruption. Prosecutor Alaeddin Dafallah told reporters after Bashir left the office that the ousted president had been informed that he was facing charges of “possessing foreign currency, corruption and receiving gifts illegally.” Meanwhile, a top general from the country’s new ruling military council vowed that those who carried out a deadly crackdown on an iconic protest site that left dozens dead earlier this month would face the death penalty. “We are working hard to take those who did this to the gallows,” Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, deputy chief of the ruling military council said in a speech broadcast live on state television. “Whoever committed any fault” will be held accountable, Dagalo added. ‘Regret’ for crackdown Thousands of protesters who had camped outside Khartoum’s military headquarters for weeks were violently dispersed by armed men in military fatigues on June 3, according to witnesses. More than 100 people were killed that day in Khartoum, according to doctors linked to the protest movement, while the health ministry put the nationwide death toll at 61. Protesters and witnesses accuse the feared paramilitary group led by Dagalo, the Rapid Support Forces, of carrying out the assault on demonstrators. Protestors and US officials have called for an independent probe into the crackdown. On Thursday, military council spokesman General Shamseddine Kabbashi expressed “regret” over the crackdown. But the council insists it did not order the dispersal, saying it had actually planned to purge an area near the protest camp where people are said to sell drugs. Kabbashi has said the findings of a probe into the deaths would be released on Saturday. “The planning of the operation of Colombia (area) was done by military and security authorities,” the council said in a statement late Saturday. “We assure you that the council is keen to investigate minute by minute facts through its investigation committee.” Bashir had swept to power in an Islamist-backed coup in 1989 Sudan suffered high rates of corruption during his rule, ranking 172 out of 180 countries in Transparency International’s 2018 Corruption Perceptions When he imposed a state of emergency on February 22 in a bid to quell protests that erupted in December over the spiralling costs, Bashir issued a decree making it illegal to possess more than $5,000 in foreign currency. But in April, military council chief General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan said more than $113 million worth of cash in three currencies had been seized from Bashir’s residence after he was toppled. A team of police, army and security agents found seven million euros ($7.8 million), $350,000 and five billion Sudanese pounds ($105 million). http://www.fombinatimes.com/sudans-bashir-appears-before-prosecutor/

orisa37:So you are implying that the state Governors will still have control over the L.Gs finances like what they the L.Gs should do and what they should not do with their funds, if what you said is true, then I believe the Governors power of control does not include ordering the L.Gs Chairmen forcefully or willingly to surrender the funds from their L.Gs accounts to the Governor just because he have full authority and responsibility over his L.G. If something like this happened, isn't that a dictatorship altitude from the Governor. |
SLAP44:you are absolutely right, if fear of God didn't make me do the right thing for the masses under me but fear of dictator can make me do the right thing for the masses under me, this is alright for me otherwise I better kept on sleeping so that I don't wake up to do wrong thing for the masses under me because the quencequences will not be good for me from both the dictator and the masses, if the masses happens to know their right. |
"You people are just wasting your time, We have sent Money directly to Local Government Account this week. And if you like, Withdraw the Money from That account and hand over to your Governor, You will give account of it properly at EFCC or Krikri Maximum Prison." — BUHARI
