They released 3 updates on a phone they haven't started shipping, doesn't that tells you that they did a terrible job, also the umi touch X, and next is UMI Touch 2.

I will only tell you the truth, one paddy is regretting getting umi touch I warned him of.

UMI release too many crap every week, which is unhealthy. Go to their official forum and see complaints.

Too many people are complaining of white Dots on UMI Touch screen, both in their forum and outside.
Note, such cannot be fixed via OTA, so customers have to live with it.

Well for battery its a FHD phone compared to s-plus that's just HD (the screen consumes like 60% of the battery)
ROM palava?.....xiaomi has the best ROMs.....I have used Samsung, tecno and gionee phone but no ROM is compared to miui ROM

yes rom palava that regular updates can never be stable and too bulky, at times you need not less than 700mb for just updates.

My only drawback for xiaomi phones is Chinese rom palava, I formerly used redmi note 2 until I bought gionee S-plus, which I can comfortable tell you is better in terms of camera and battery.

I didn't buy the phone then cos is too stick, currently using gionee.

I wish MTN would just release me, I've been trying to port to etisalat or airtel but to no avail.

honestly coming from a xiaomi phone, I'd say gionee has impressed me with S-plus... patiently waiting for gionee S8.

if it's cheap, I'll buy as alternative for second phone.

Airtel data charges is fair, I've been using their #1,400 for 3gig for two weeks now and still have this as balance...

is always on H+ with data running all through the day, maybe I'm just lucky, the battery is great.

Mine charges pretty fast and lasts for the whole day on heavy usage.

for instance I used a redmi note 2 before s-plus, I prefer the s-plus over the RN2 except the higher resolution on RN2 which I didn't even notice any difference... As at then RN2 was 47k while s-plus was 39, 500.

There's no way this phone's price will exceed 75k, that's if it's coming to Nigeria.

mine doesn't heat up, besides no phone that doesn't heat up on too much usage, even the almighty S7 will heats up.

Higher mah dosen't mean the phone will last longer than a 2000 mah phone that is optimized to be battery efficient. So the amigo os and the hardware components might be more efficient than android with other manufacturers hardware....probably

I trust gionee on battery optimization cuz my s-plus 3150mah last the whole day even on heavy usage.

Xiaomi phones are overpriced.

I had a very bad experience with Glo too. I live in owerri where etisalat data service is good. But because I had a few problem with my etisalat line which they cud not rectify immediately, I poted to glo. It was then I knew that I have jumped into fire. Those 90 days before I cud Pot back was d worst days of my life. Thank God am off the network now. If I am to chose between 3 devils, etisalat wud still be my choice.

try airtel anywhere in IMO, thank me later.

Nice replacement for my s-plus, but the battery should've been 4000mah.

Glo is gradually packing up, the only network I rely on is airtel.... Steady H+, followed by etisalat.
