My good friend was robbed of his valuables including phones etc at gun point and shot.

The police report was on obtained and treatment started that same night. Thank God he is stable and recovering.

But just this morning, I tried the stolen number and it rang. A guy picked, said "hello" and dropped. This means the stolen line is still in use.

My question is; Is there not a way of tracing the criminals. I tried phone tracker apps but they ain't working.

No matter the camp you belong - Nigerian Igbo, IPOB, etc Please and Please , register and get your PVC card. You can get it in your state of residence if it is where you will vote, else get it wherever you intend to cast your vote.

I'm more worried by IPOB. Even if you get Biafra today, you will not get international recognition immediately. See Somaliland - still uses Somalia international passport, North Cyprus - still covered by Turkey. Somaliland has their own military, more organized and thriving economy than rogue and lawless Somalia. Yet they are not yet recognized - both currency and passport. They are currently working on it and might take several more years to get it. But I'm positive they will get it one day. So I'm not discouraging secessionists, instead asking them to apply wisdom.

So what I'm saying in a nutshell is , even if we conduct referendum and declare a republic and Nigeria did not fight back seriously or even lose, it may take up to 10years or more to get recognized by countries like US or UK.

So in the meantime, please play Nigerian politics to the fullest while planning your secession. Seek for positions and change the current underdevelopment of Eastern Nigeria. That is exactly what Catalonia's secessionists did ! Took over the political sphere of their region. Yet it was still very difficult for them! Nnamdi Kanu is just on the sideline. Don't you see it will never fly ? Assuming Nk is governor of Abia state and use executive power with other eastern Governors, do you think they would be treated this way? Nay

Catalonia is more developed than the rest of Spain. If our utopia secessionists can take over the polity and at least start to "genuinely" developing the east. For my normal nonchalant Igbo brethren, who feel politics don't affect them, please think twice. Things might change. Policies can affect your businesses, life etc. Even if you're not a politician, please get it. You can use it as an ID card.

North is breeding Almajiris daily for this same reason. Next fifty years, they would be majority and overrun Nigeria if it still remains one nation. We must introduce this electoral college stuff if south will remain relevant in the future. Here in the south, most of my friends are having between 2-4 children maximum. Most three. You can't say the same up north.

Finally, if possible make suggestions for 2019. Both for southeast and Presidential elections. How do we focus and make south east relevant now? Please no phantom marginalization or Biafra. We need workable solutions Now. Thank you
