So far these are the problem positions I have identified and also hope that the club would splash the cash on rectifying!


1: central defence....Smalling is useless, Phil jones is unreliable so we need at least 2 more!


2: rightback...competition for Valencia and since dharmian may leave for not being good enough!


3: central midfield.... we need at least 2 since Carrick is leaving and maybe blind! Fellaini may also move! Even if he does not he is not really up to scratch and competition for pogba and herrera is definitely needed!


4: Striker....rooney is gone! Rashford is not yet fulfilled and Ibrahimovic needs someone to give him some pressure to make him remain competitive!


5: Right wing.....Ashley young is gone and has even reverted into a right back these days while Miki may have to move permanently into the hole next season! We lack anyone capable of delivering crosses from the right as well as to help in building attacks with valencia from that flank!

There are positives but we are Man Utd, we don't just dwell on positives and rest.
Transfer moves don't move us anymore until we see how the players fit in. There have been too many wasted transfers for me to start salivating over rumors.

There are many ways to kill a rat. I was all for the "tough love" method in the beginning but when it's used all the time, it has dire consequences. Some of these players can revolt if they're tired of playing for you and at the end of the day, the coach will likely lose out.

There's no coach that can succeed without the backing of majority of his squad.
