kcc515: Thanks Funmyjos! I'm trying to get the hang of News Trading, with a lot of caution though, 'cos in the field of news trading, I'm a newbie.
It's good not to rely solely on an approach, just that there is lot of confusion in the land.

kcc515: Those of you that use Forex Factory, the website, pls what is the indication of the colours in the 'Impact' column. i see red, yellow and something like orange. Do they represent bullish, bearish and range movements.
Basically, Red means High impact( expected) I.e strong trend expected.
Orange means Medium impact (expected) I.e moderate trend and Yellow means Low impact ( expected) I.e weak trend. But there is more to it using the prelim and revised principle and that's so complex...

meshpips: Hi, the number of pips between your entry and TP here is 33.5pips. Your broker is one of such that quotes to five digits after the decimal. Have a pleasant day.
Correction accepted. Just confirmed that from the big players I respect so much. Nobody is an island of knowledge. We keep on learning from cradle to grave. RESPECT TO MESHPIPS!

Piponomics: Better accept that correction. What pro trader 'trained' you that way? Smh. 33pips is not 335pips! No two ways about it. You'll now go and teach others the same thing..
So, my brokers that use that are not pros and my mt4 that shows 335 in percentage in pips is wrong!

This is FX and nothing is constant. The main thing is to speculate the market and take the pips. Call it 33pips or 330pips, I care less!

For me, that's 335 pips. I was trained with that and I'm used to it. Thanks for the observation.

EU - Finally bought @ 1.29345 , TP - 1.29680 SL - 1.29120.

EU - Truly the market ranges but my bias remains AS (bullish). There should be a good entry anytime from 11am with at least 200 pips. Keeping my fingers crossed.

EU - Trade finally closed @ 1.29574 @ 215 pips.
1.29750 would have been a better target. Well, tomorrow is another day.
Na confusion una wan start so ooo, abeg make una leave d thread as e dey before
Please I'm not an author of confusion, just expressing my view and wanting uniformity or ... Anyway, we'll let what happens in vegas stay in vegas. May be we can create a group for that on FB and not on NL. Anybody interested can contact me. Enough of this, It's time to plan for another week. Thanks.

Wishing all NL traders a green green week.
RESPECT!

erniok: would be folowing you on that thread although i think EU is news dependent.
You're right but many chartists trade EU successfully without following any news. Price action discounts everything. Besides any news that will affect the market will be signalled in the forex calendar data. So, news is a less factor.
Business › Re: Forex Trading - Season 13 by funmyjos: 12:07am On Mar 17, 2013
dagr8: Hmmm...that means we that trade EJ will also create our thread
Is it abominable? At least you'll be able to discuss and share views with people who have common goal like you do. There is EU only, EJ only thread on forexfactory now.
Business › Re: Forex Trading - Season 13 by funmyjos: 5:12pm On Mar 16, 2013
At times, it's not good to follow the multitude. I almost had a margin call last week just because I added some new instruments. Now, I'll stick to my EU only though I'm considering adding NU; after all my boss has never traded any other pair other than EU and he's a successful trader!

I think there should be a thread for traders like me who trade EU only. For me, with EU the market is predictable!

Hardetutu01: To d gurus here, pls how gud is usin smartphone mobile platform,nd is it advisable to use.i'll be glad 4 ur reply...thanks
mobile terminals are only good for monitoring trades when you are not on pc. For a clear view and optimum use of custom indicators, pc terminal remains the best.

Tolo2: For those using Instaforex, what payment method do you use? I currently use LR but will like to know if there's any other method? Tried applying for the Instaforex mastercard but couldn't complete the process; an error message always comes up at the point of submission.
I use payoneer mastercard and LR and I'm ok with them. They also accept webmoney, paypal, payza, pecunix and the likes. The instaforex mastercard application should be easy. Contact support team if problem persists. You may also download a free guide on how to get a payoneer mastercard free at www./Z4DhRw
