The story that was spreading like a wild harmattan fire last week was that star actor and Delta State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism,Richard Mofe Damijo (RMD) is in love- outside of his marriage.

He is said to be in a romance with a young girl(name withheld).

According to the rumour mongers,RMD and the lady described as a beautiful damsel and in her mid-twenties have been embroiled in an affair for some time- but kept very low profile.

She was said to be quartered in a house bought for her by RMD.

Jumobi , the celebrated wife of the talented thespian is said to be in the dark about this development.

The bad belles further disclosed that this development is an 'open secret' among his close knit friends.

And it is fast becoming a common knowledge in the social circle.

RMD was alleged to have been going round with the lady and has told those close to him that he would take her as his second wife.

The talented actor took to his twitter page this afternoon to express his grievances, anger, and disgust.

‘Just heard a mushroom magazine published a story that I took a 2nd wife. It’s a sick malicious lie. Their intentions are to cause a crack in my marriage or make me and my family unhappy. The person will have unhappiness, pains and heartbreak. I think i agree with u about purchasing a new fire arm. Yes arms are used as protection against the bad guys. I don't think i like the glock u'r talking about. Anyway, i dont think there is any hard process getting ur drivers licence...to some people, it is like "a year". If u get the right connections, there s no time wasting....
