am not trying to burst your bubble, but one thing have discovered is that anything/strategy works in a trend market.

if u are an aggressive trader, u have no business using indicators, but if u are conservative, then it's in ur best interest to use indicators.

ok talking concise entry i sold EU @ 08076 dis morning with 10 pips stop loss ($1 a pip). Got to RR1:5 only to closed me at 16 pips cos i was looking at 4 hours to cash 100 more pips. Now I bought d nucca at 08555 sl 40 pips following 1 hour flow. what do u think?

LESSON: Exit is the most difficult aspect of trading. some trades will give me +100 pips & close me at 10.. may be I should stick to RR 1:1 or 1:2 instead of giving market pips.

do you have a trading system? if yes, follow it!

if you are not OK with your system, then u change it.

During times of being on the sideline with no active position(s), i just take up a novel or do something else while my alarm alerts me to check up on my chart either to manage my trade(s) or look for a potential signal.

Been in the market 247 doesn't really equates to more CASH.....

market is traded by real humans, so it makes perfect sense to trade setups and signals that is very visible to virtually everyone! this does not mean that you won't have losing trade, but you will have far less losing trade and really more winning trade!

from next week, i move to 2 - 5% risk from 1-2.5% risk. I've also switch to lower timeframe with money management rules intact. Everytin i do here is exactly hw my live trading will be done so critics are welcome if am not doing well so far. i plan my trades i trade my plans.

acct1 +11% gain
acct2 +17% gain (tight ECN broker spread)
floated equity loss -2%
total lost trades 16 ( including those tiny tiny loss. newbies loss is a must in fx: be ready!)

may start concentrating on one acct

current trade now GU buy 1.4605 ( 0.01) cos of support being broken down. buy mode don start hopefully

till next month God's willing

it's easy to say plan your trade and trade your plan...but in d real trading, it can be frustrating at times most especially if a winning trade with just few pips to hit profit suddenly turns and hits B.E or S.L.

in such scenario, u will feel abandoning your plan.

it's times like this that trend traders makes massive profit.

but don't be carried away...
