Despite Abacha stove and Abacha loot, Nigeria was far better then compared with now. I remember I took 5naira as pocket money to school asides my food box and I enjoyed it. I bought coke for 10 Naira. With Coca-Cola company giving us free drinks when you check under the cover. Now that Abacha is no longer in power why are things worst than when Abacha was in power?

I don't think Abacha was as bad as they made us believe. If bread can be 10 Naira under Abacha who was seen as bad, how come that same bread is 400 Naira under a good government ? Or is someone deceiving us?

Investment that should have been done to make the future better was left undone and the money was stolen so the consequence is what we are facing today. If nothing is done again today,in the nearest future when our population has increase exponentially, today's economy will be like child's play compare to that time. Imagine we have built like 5 functioning refinery and the whole country is linked by fast trains and so many great infrastructures things would been better now but few people stole all the funds.

Many can’t even live that life. It’s a party after party champagne campaign in Nigeria with the lowest we earn. We build houses to taste and own outrightly. We not chased by banks.

You are just making yourself to be happy. Nigeria is not bad for everybody but salary payment in naija is bad. You can't afford basic things of life as a salary earner in naija except you are supporting it with corrupt money somewhere. In abroad, with minimum wage you can afford basic things and leave well. Besides who are you to tell a mature man to know when his situation changes?.. Do you think is deceiving himself?

Take note if your car is factory fitted, U don't need any backing document or doctor's report to upload. The doctor's report is meant for non factory tinted cars. I did mine without any doctor report. Just select factory fitted and U are good to go as long as Ur car is factory fitted. Have helped about three people and it went through

This is not new..Bank has been doing that for a long time. maybe not to FIRS but to NDLEA and EFCC. No one needs to be scared once you don't have money you cannot defend.

Banks do not even need any gigantic building to operate in this Tech age. I cant even remember the last time i visited bank to do anything. you can see there is no much activities taking place in most of the sky scrappers we have in CMS. Most of the banks are not making use 50% of the spaces they have. they could ve invested in technology and probably the building will be for something else which I surely believe it is. Banks do not need much space to operate again like in the past.

He is not lying though. But they are all Nigerians living abroad. Some go back to Nigeria to have their dental issues fixed because of the very expensive nature of dental procedures abroad. Some go back home for surgeries because these western countries don't rush to operate on you if it is not an emergency. They will give you a far date for the surgery. Some Nigerians just go back home and do the surgery and go back abroad.

I agree with you. each time i called my GP in London they hardly take me serious. even when you visit, they dont just start giving serious medications like that. They always takes things lightly except you are brought in by ambulance. I prefer going to emergency for quick attention each time i need medical attention.

Not asleep but helpless. The truth is those guys are very hard-working. I got to know this when I had accident 4yrs ago around 5am on Lagos-Ibadan express road and we were quickly rescued to a nearby hospital . Half of the people in the bus died instantly, I thank God for saving me and also used the prompt action of the Road safety men. The point is if Nigeria refuses to embrace technology to fight any ill in the society there will be no solution. Come to UK and do over speeding ,by the time you collect ticket many times in a month and use your hard earned money to pay no one will ever caution you again. Police will not even be on the road to caution you but just camera and this is also possible here too but we will never do it.

The way and manner investigations are conducted in Nigeria is so archaic, your enemy will lie against you, bribe the police and you are finished if you don't have anybody to defend you, they will come up with concocted and fabricated lies and force you to make a statement admitting to it, a lot of innocent people are languishing in prison

When doing things for your kids, you do it to teach then them how to do it for themselves eventually. The child should be able to let you know when he/she can do it for herself when that time comes, or at least that she would like to try it for herself then.
