i left bayelsa 2007. my rent was 350k for a 2-bedroom apartment in nipton rd then ( close to GEJ house). I m very sure by now the house would ve added up to 300k. i must also let you know the first house i rented was paid for when it was still at a foundation level..you hardly see completed building then early yr 2000.infact i wore rainboot to office most times during raining season becos our road (down osiri hotel) was always flooded then. yenagoa should ve been one of the best city in the world since her development started in a computer age but only corruption will not allow this country to move forward.

i cant really say but all i know is Alaibe is one of the father of politics as far as bayelsa is concern. Alaibe even gave Alamco a run for his money in a build up to his second time in office. even when Alamco won the primary in Yenagoa the party did nt announced it immediately until things were settle in abuja due to Alaibe political connection to Abuja then...Jonathan and co could not even measure up then..Alaibe is also like a godson to Atiku and u know Atiku fell in favour with Obasanjo really affected him .but i think things will work in his favour if he can maintain been in the party that controls the centre. He s really a big name in niger delta politics.

Prior to this whole LAND border closure issue, I never knew I have been consuming local rice.

That does not matter after all Obasanjo never won his polling boot but won the election two times. Infact a friend of mine told a story that he was the only person that voted for obasanjo in one of the polling units just to show appreciation of what he did for him in the past then after counting pple started raining courses on the sole person that voted for him but he could not boldly come out but the man won the election...in as much i m not a jagaban fan, i will never support somebody boasting as if he could single-handedly install somebody as a president..i truly support an igbo person to balance it

If not that Ronaldinho killed his own career with his own hands, he would have been far ahead of the second messi by a long distance.
