There are valid reasons why Nigerians are very angry whenever news breaks that some 'big men' (or women) forged their NYSC records: ordinary Nigerians are catching hell in the name of travelling long distances across the country to fulfil the NYSC requirement. There is the case (one out of several) of the woman whose only child was abducted on her way to NYSC last month or so. Who speaks for people like her?

That's why people react with anger when they hear that the Tunji Ojos or Kemi Adeosuns of this world forged their records. Where is the equity?

I have never been a fan of any of the candidates, but truth be told i voted for OBI in 2023. But i must confess some of the ministers in Tinubu cabinents are working the way we wantt them to work. No one else can do it better. I do not have any preference as none of these people know me or are related to me. But I will always support the candidates who deliver good governance to me.

You know the law of supply and demand, but you cannot apply it properly, or you fail to realize Nigeria is not the only country producing crude oil. Even among the top oil-producing countries, Nigeria has one of the highest costs of crude oil production, leaving a very little margin for profit compared to countries like Saudi Arabia and others. How can we be producing crude and running at a loss? When OPEC is no longer there to regulate oil prices in your opinion, Nigeria will try to produce more, and you are assuming in your head that the other countries like Saudi Arabia and co will not want to produce more. Oh, okay, they will cut production so Nigeria can produce more to sell. When all the countries produce more crude, you will be the one to increase the demand by putting more people on earth to consume it abi or to increase the demand. Or in your law of supply and demand, you were not taught that when supply increase price will drop. And if the price drop you think Nigeria will have more money. You think investors will invest more in drilling when the price drops and the business becomes less profitable due to low prices. You saw what happened during the COVID period Opec had to drag Russia into their deal to cut production. Even a bottle of Eva water costs more than a bottle of crude oil then.
So OPEC is doing far more good for Nigeria than you can imagine. Just that most of you Nigerians do not know what is good and what is bad for you all. Put good and bad, people like you will most times choose the bad stuff. You think of one way and forget other factors.
