This whole needless open battle is making Fubara tougher and tougher. Tinubu would have preferred that Wike relax until the last minute. Then, give Fubara the shock of his life. At this time it will be too late and he will have nowhere to run to.

Wike has used his own anger to put Fubara in a stronger position in this feud. Now the assembly members are even worn out. Those guys have hardly enjoyed their tenure. And the bitter part is that some of them won't be coming back. That's another battle waiting to happen. Fubara and Wike will fight over legislative seats. Fubara will definitely sponsor his own candidates under APC. In fact Wike has made Fubara wiser politically. It's unfortunate.

I don't hate Wike o. One thing you cannot dispute about him is that when he stands by you, he does so with full commitment and dedication without counting the costs. Wike is a reliable pillar anytime, any day. This is why Tinubu has been very empathetic towards him. No other appointee of Tinubu will get away with Wike's kind of behavior. But the president knows that Wike is that one person that has the strength of a thousand men.
