All the money the FG budgeted for maintenance is siphoned by the greedy workers there. What did you expect? But I am telling you that the Refineries worked and refined fuel and others after they were handed over to us by the Western companies, but the Ajaokuta steel never worked, even for one hour, after it was handed over to us. Now let me tell you, the Egyptian Nuclear power plant has not worked yet, rather it is set to be completed in 2028 that over 3 years from now, a lot can happen before then, and if they do not abandon it before it also still may not work. They started the plant since 2022. And they have set over 6 years to complete just one plant, which may not start operation even after 2035 or may never work at all, like the Ajaokuta steel, and nothing they can do. Like a building contractor, they are not doing us any favour; rather, we are the ones doing them the favour by giving them contracts, which we are going to pay them heavily for to build these plants for us. I can also tell you for a fact that the west have signed deals and is currently building more Nuclear power plants in Africa than Russia and China. so i repeta again, you sounded more like they are helping us build these plants as if they are doing it for free. But the West is currently helping more Africans countries to build the same Nuclear power plants as even your so-called saviour, Russia. So, where is your argument here? Let me play a scenerio where you came to me to build a car for you based on i am a car manufacturer and i built the car for you after you paid me money to do so i drove the car to your house and gave you the key, you dorve the car for like five years and the engine knock because you didnot maintain the car properly by changing the oil regularly that is the case of Nigerian Refineries and the case where i hired a truck and shipped the car to your house and from that day onward you cannot drive the car not even for a single miles you keep calling different mechanics to try and fix the car all to no avail and you are here saying that the second car dealer whose car never started for once is the better deal. Those bridges passed through very difficult, swampy, and water terrain hence which reason it was difficult to construct and very costly too. It is because of people like you that make politicians commission projects even when they are not complete yet, hence encouraging contractors to abandon projects that are not complete. Back to the topic....as far as Africa is concerned from the past to the present Russia has always been good to the continent and helps better (without a lot of draining strings attached) than the west....they didn't join to share Africa in Berlin, they didn't enslave Africans...they were always willing to build infrastructures here unlike the west who would rather they move the raw materials and process it in their country, triple the price then bring it back here....they don't provide a safe haven for corrupt politicians to loot and keep.

So don't dare compare Russia hospitality and help towards Africa to that of the west.....only those who can't easily see through deceits see the west as some sort of saviours because they're very good at that kind of game.
