wizzy2021: normally d induction process comes in batches, wen my bro and sister(both ss2) go 2011 dey spent one month at alakija, after Dem my inlaw come go n him spend another one month( he was first given SS1 but later after 3 months Dem gv am assistant manager based on his experience) den after Dem my oga wa I Bn dey work with for phcn during my Nysc com go n he spent 2 weeks( manager na Dem gv am). Wot am saying is all d resources of HR' will go into d training now, nothing happens again until dey r tru with d training. Madam HR'(chizuba) is a no nonsense woman n she does her tinx orderly. So me too follow dey wait for interview but all of us gat calm down.... CBN recruitment dey take time.

1odogwu: I have one concern. It looks like no one have been called for medicals for certain job position. E.g, no one at least in this forum have acknowledged been call for position such as Assistant IT Compliance Specialist & Solution Developer/ Assist Solution Developer. I know about 4 person who were interviewed for Solution Developer position and haven't been called. How do u explain that bro?

I did my medicals last week in lagos and a friend of mine (a solution developer) who was also scheduled for medicals at the same venue confirmed that at least 10 Solution developers got medical invite and I saw 3 of them myself.

I think most people that got the medical invite are not part of this forum.

You guys should stop asking these questions and wait till they start calling people. To the glory of God I am doing my medicals at CBN clinic this week in Lagos. If you have written the test well, u will be invited for interview.

The interview stage is very competitive. Right now the list for lagos medical screening has less than 55 names that made it thru the interview and to my knowledge medical screening is only taking place in Abuja, lagos and kano. I pray there is a next batch for those still expecting their medical invite. I think it is better not to pass d test at all than to pass the test but fail the interview! So by faith, start preparing for the interview.

HR cannot influenece anything, so y do u ask them? The recruitment process is highly secretive cos insider information from different sources were not the same at the Feb 2012 IT recruitment. Just keep working and praying, God is able.

Ess: It seems only graduate level are receiving their offer. Can any experienced level confirm if they have received theirs yet?

I applied at Experienced level and I have got my letter.

So I applied for Access and Systems Security Specialist and not assitant. I have close to 9 years experience in information security so I am sure mine is experience hire. I feel the Assistant is for graduate level.

mbgreat: Yes bro, i was allowed to check my name. Kano i think got the highest but many other states from South especially the southeast and south-south got many shortlisted. Am from the North myself and trust me only 1 was shortlisted from my state. The interview started earlier than 3rd Oct and ended much later than 1st week of nov.

I hope u also got your invite for medical since you went through the list and found out that u were d only one shortlisted from your state.

Your comment on Nov 29, 2012 : Confirmed that the interview is not for the northern part but for branch office staff and offer letters will be sent in the next 2 weeks, probably between 17th - 21st Dec..

Your comment on Dec 01, 2012 : The info is very reliable..for each position advertised they will take 3 people, so approximately 200 people will be taken in all.as for the offer letters,it will be sent in d next 2 weeks n early January..The training 4 d new intake will also be done january 2013.

I appreciate your contributions but some of us (especially those without a current job) rely on the info on this site alot. Not saying u are wrong but your previous comments havn't been valid. Most CBN staff don't even have a clue of what is happening. I have a friend who applied for this vacancy and works in CBN that I even give update concerning this recruitment.
