Good morning nairalander. Just passing by. |
Pls any experience person in the house to help me out. Still waiting for reply. Thanks. |
Morning All, This trend is so educative. I will need the guidance of experience people in the house. I had a 2:2(3.31) in my first degree in mechanical engineering. I graduated from my MBA with an average of 65.7 which is approx 3.57/4.00 (UK). My GMAT score is 580 and i have 11 years of work experience with 4 years being in the management level. I have a dream of doing a PhD (management) in Canada. Advice on the following areas: 1. Chance of getting admission for my PhD 2. Which schools will you advice that will increase my chance as well as return on investment. 3. My main priority is permanent resident (PR) permit. 4. Will going for MSC or master in engineering management be a good option, if yes, which schools do you think will accept me based on my detail above. 5. What other options do you think i can apply knowing that PR is my main priority. Thank you very much and hope to hear from experience people in the house. |
Good Evening All, I have a concern which requires urgent advice from professionals in the house. I have a 2:2 in my undergraduate degree (mechanical - 3.31cgpa) and a 65.7% (A-) cumulative av in my MBA (UK) which is equivalent to 3.37/4.00 of canada grading system. GMAT score of 600 as well as 10 years working experience. I have the dream of doing a PhD in management from a school in canada, what is my chance of getting admission into a Canadian university and which schools will i have the greatest chance of getting admission. Thanks for your response. |
Justwise and other nairalanders in the house, i will like you to advise me on this issue that have being a serious concern to me. Am preparing applying for my uk study visa but my concern is that am combining two waec results that contains different age(1981 and 1980). Every other documents contains the correct age(1981) and every effort to correct the waec-GCE that contains the wrong age from waec have proved abortive. Please what should i do in a case like this? |
Pls any experience person in the house should advise. |
Compliment of the season to all nairalanders in the house. I was given an offer to do a graduate program in a uk university by summiting university certificate, notification of result, transcript from my department, reference letter from HOD and waec certificate. My CAS statements states that i should sumit my degree certificate only. Pls nairalanders being that the transcript used to get an offer was from my department not registrar of the university, is it advisable to include it to the documents to be summited for my visa application to the embassy or just to summit my university certificate, notification of result, waec certificate and skip the transcript. Pls your advise is highly needed to avoid visa refuser. Thanks. |
