Ok maybe Im generalizing here. He might be the guy whom cheats or simply he might be the guy whom does not love his wife anymore. And also there are so many people with different personalities and not everybody can be the same. He might be serious with you and he might not be. And you on the other hand could not help your emotions but to fall for him which made you feel lost.

Well, since its already too late, the only thing you can do is to ask yourself
1) Do you love him?
2) Do you trust him?

If yes and I mean like really yes to both questions, than the next thing is to wait for him to properly announce it to his wife and to do a proper divorce letter. As for the future, I dont know, .  Life is like a lottery and its either you win or loose.

You might sound like a home wrecker but on the other hand, the guy has already wreck his own home to begin with and hope he does not redo it once again. Nothing on earth comes for free. When you do something bad, you will have to pay for it one way or another. But yet again, I cannot judge cause its like Im not sure on whats going on between the guy you fell in love with and his wife.
