lecturer22:No, I have never been to Europe. Sit your ass down in one place and wait for manna to come fall on your lap, you hear. Always always complaining. Jobs reected by Europeans you said? Are you a European? What is the monthly pay for these jobs? Nonsense. Always trying to stand logic on its head to justify bad manners and view to life. Why don't you leave the difficult Europe and the European rejected jobs to come do the Nigerian accepted jobs in your country? |
Jameskyrian:In essence, You should learn to quit building castles in the air and be a realist. Hoping an Obi Presidency will solve the evils holding Nigeria down is a dream for the naive and people who don't understand the true dynamics of this toilet called Nigeria. While I hold no brief nor support for either of BAT and Atiku, it is funny how you could in one breath castigate an Atiku and PDP yet forgetting that barely 3 years ago, Peter Obi was confident in running alongside the same Atiku with the hopes of bettering Nigeria. Na all this kind confusion and naivety I dey warn against. I'm a core realist and its helped me so much from getting my hopes dashed or heart broken, |
That's a HorseBand, not a husband. Some people are unhelpable. If you fail to understand and flow with this knowledge, you will end up getting sucked and pulled into their doomed domain. |
New hawks and cabals-in-waiting warming up to take over and line up their personal pockets as usual. Until we get back to the roots, basis, and foundation, I don't see any miracle in sight anytime soon. The country and system it hangs upon is so messed up that even a Mohammed or Jesus will struggle not to have the citizens complain. |
unclejb2:Okay, sir. |
MadamExcellency:I disagree with your submission. He was under no duress whatsoever and could have ended his reign without as much as looking at that piece of legislation. From my observation. What actually buoyed Buhari on to take the electoral reform up as a pet project was as a result of what he suffered at his past elections and what PDP showed him righing-wise. If Buhari didn't take this bold and apt step, the wouldn't be the buzz of Obidient today and like previous administrations, nothing for happen. Abi no be this Nigeria? Buhari could have conveniently chosen his successor from his party, funded and used every instrument of State to ensure victory for his candidate and party then go ahead to boast to Nigerians that APC will be in power for the next 50 years. The truth is it will take us more year's to find someone in the mould of Buhari who would take up one of the many ills plaguing Nigeria to deal with and deliver on it without getting distracted. The major distractions usually come from all that we are currently faced with like insecurity, hunger, dwindling economy, corruption etc. To get it right in Nigeria with the way the rot has gone, as a President, you need to block your ears and feelings to every side talk and attacks. |
floret23:Thanks for the correction. Didn't proofread. |
Secondly:That has always been the story of Nigeria, sadly. The previous is always appreciated and lauded than the incumbent or present. That is my fear going forward should any of today's candidates win. |
Lazy, ungrateful, and for the most part very wicked people who hate competition as if say na their money people wan take travel or na their money dem go take dey pay their salary. However it is, it is still better to be able to work legitimately, earn a living by so doing, and be able to afford most of the good things of daily living. The one thing these people always complaining and hoping they are discouraging people don't know is that God and nature abhor ungratefulness and ingratitude as an act. It does never augur well with such people in the long run. You complain about hardship and unemployment in your country. Now, you have the opportunity to be in a place where there are jobs instead of being grateful and getting down to bettering your conditions legally na so so complain or the most will take to the fast lane of committing crimes while deluding themselves on being smart. My one and continuous advise remains if you have the resources and legitimate means to jakpa and better your condition legally, by all means, leap because it is your right to live a decent life even God acknowledges this. Who says you can't contribute your quota or suggestions on how to better Nigeria from anywhere you are in the world. |
unclejb2:He does know and had made it clear from the onset that he was going to leave a legacy of free, fair, and credible elections. If indeed he was up to no good, he'd have interfered in most of the elections held under his watch. He could have also single-handedly picked his preferred part man as a successor and used the state machinery to rig and instal that candidate as had been the style in our politics. Why do think the single "Emilokan and Obidients" was released and making the rounds? |
From before your first term as a military head and your second coming and beyond, when has Nigeria ever done we'll? The country has been a cesspit built upon a shaky foundation and not even qualified to be called a country. This is actually where and how the citizens confuse previous governments with incumbents with the erroneous belief that the past was better. Forget the make-believe and shoddy indices and indexes. Nigeria has never truly done well. It only went a notch worse this time and judging from how the foundation is still the same today, admitting that it'd even get worse going forward shouldn't be mistaken as a comment from a pessimist or someone unpatriotic..it is simply called "living in reality". To put my " rants" above in better perspective; Obj said even worse thing against the GEJ administration particular in about the same months leading up to the 2015 general elections and visibly supported and encouraged Buhari's promise of a change. Exactly the same thing is getting repeated today and to expect a different result is what i'm struggling to wrap my head around.. |
MrRobot:Correct your header op *Assessing* not Accessing. |
Built2last:Dude is leaving a legacy indeed. Love or loathe him, I commend and respect him on this. I don't think any one of today's candidates would have had the resolve, focus, will, and defiance to achieve this very fundamental fit for the future of Nigeria. |
Nice to see and feel the enthusiasm and excitement rekindled amongst Nigerians. Experience and life lessons have thought me to be more cautious in enthusiasm and excitement, though. After all, the Sai Chanji buzz was this loud if not even more at the time. It would be sad to see people's hearts and expectations dashed as has been the usual story should PO go on to win. Bubu did one thing well though a d that's the signing of the reformed electoral act bill and for not being partisan about his approach towards recent elections and the upcoming ones. |
LegalWolf:My comment means I'm supporting a particular candidate? Wahala |
Classless |
We hear you. Punter.... |
Good advice but certainly not a one advice that fits all. One might just be tempted to finally admit that indeed school is scam after adding up all the amount you quoted up there. After all, is set and done, the only thing most people will take out from this one-way style of education is how to graduate, find a 9-5 job, earn a salary, and get a mortgage to buy a house while also paying off study loans. The whole thing get as e be joor |
Legal jakpa is the way if you have the means and be sure you are headed to an advanced country. I'm working on a project where people can find info and advise on legal jakpa matters. Follow me to know when the project takes off... |
Captain don go... |
A very good buy and a huge steal. I wished I had such an opportunity.. |
moshino:A young radical military gun who is as pained as every Nigerian youth of today needs to take power from these old guns, suspend the current constitution and constitute a committee to Draw up a constitution that'd be truly fair and representative of all Nigerians. The new Constitution to adopt will be drawn to take care of most of the ills currently holding the country down. |
Nigeriafirstlad:A very sad reality.. |
Such a disheartening and painful waste of an innocent life. |
Eyaaa The chief priest of new yam festival Ekweremadu dey UK dey visit mama Charlie... |
Emefiele suppose die for jail.... Person wey no qualify to head community bank or Lapo na him be a whole federal reserve bank chief. What a country... Kai |
moshino:With the current system in place and all stakeholders currently holding the country and her citizens by the jugular, I am afraid to inform you that, no one amongst all the candidates on parade can, and will be able to carry out the mission of remedying any of the issues you raised above. There are a plethora of reasons for this some of which are as follows; (A) The current foundation upon which the entity known and referred to as Nigerian is seating or standing is shoddy, skewed and very sandy. None of those presently benefitting from this faulty set-up will be willing to let go of all that they are currently benefitting from the roguish system for the general good. This would have meant the scrapping of the current trash called a constitution which is supposed to serve as a foundation to address most and all of the current issues boggling us as a nation and people. But with the current realities and those, directly and indirectly, benefitting from this charade, do you see any of them supporting and working with anyone willing to embark on this rebuilding from the ground up? I don't think so. (B) Do you truly see any of the candidates on parade today being able to truly tackle the issue of insecurity which has been proven to be a sponsored tool used to sabotage the system and country by those who feel they own the country and have found in it another source for making their blood money and also settling their ragtag army? (C) On the economy. Do we even have one right now to begin with? The whole thing is just a big confusion jare |
All these cunning politicians trying to take advantage of the Obi buzz to pretend to be relevant and to gain Atiku's attention...lol Very very cunning people. Even the Peter Obi sef ready visit anybody now for some photo op Nigerian politics and the politicians na full-time clowns. It is always about their personal interests. |
From what sector of the economy is the current $100B the climate change is currently costing Nigeria coming from, please? And also, from where would it be costing Nigeria over $400B annually in 2050? I want to gain some knowledge abeg. |
