Job Title: Area Sales Manager

[b]Summary:
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end distribution strategy of our products across territory. You will ensure that our products move efficiently from the warehouse to the shelves of neighborhood, supermarkets, and major wholesalers or distributors.
 
Responsibilities:
 Develop and execute distribution strategies for multiple channels including Open Markets, Modern Trade (supermarkets), and specialized product shops.
 
Map out and optimize delivery routes to increase "drop size" efficiency and reduce fuel/maintenance costs.
 
 Identify, recruit, and manage Key Distributors (KDs). Ensure they maintain adequate stock levels and adhere to pricing guidelines.
 
 Collaborate with the production team to align manufacturing output with demand forecasts to prevent overstocking or stock-outs.
 
 Monitor competitor distribution footprints and pricing strategies within your area to identify gaps and opportunities.
 
 Ensure all distribution activities comply with regulations and guidelines regarding product storage and handling.
 
Maintain and increase sales of the company's products across territory
 
Achieve sales targets and goals for designated areas
 
Monitor and evaluate the performance of the sales team, motivating them to meet targets.
 
Conduct market research and gather customer feedback for continuous improvement.
 
Establish strong partnerships with distributors to ensure smooth business operations.
 
Education: HND, B.Sc in relevant field.
 
Experience : [/b]5 year +  in FMCG distribution, with at least 3 years in a managerial role and territory.
 
[b]Skills: [/b]Microsoft office,  Strong negotiation and "street-smart" problem-solving skills.
