Job Description
 Responsible for operating a stationary or traveling crane to lift, move, position, and reposition loads. Depresses buttons, lifts levers, and ensures load is safely attached to crane before bringing it down
 Responsible for operation of crane used in heavy lifting and transport
 Responsible for personal safety and safety of co-workers
 Responsible for slings, cables, straps, and the crane prior to lifting operations
 Responsible for own and rigger’s compliance with company policy, safety guidelines and procedures that pertain to the crane operator’s job
Responsibilities
• Operate crane under general supervision.
• Manipulate or depress cane controls to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement according to written, verbal, or signal instructions.
• Repair crane as needed.
• Operate crane according to signals from helper.
Qualifications and Experience
• 5Yrs (+) experience as crane operator in a construction industry
• Completion of technical certification or secondary education is preferred
