The Blue Card Visa (18b para 2) for a non EU citizen ( especially those relocating directly for the job) is given only after the Agentur für Arbeit ( German Government Work Agency) approves it. In the past they checked to see if locals or at least Europeans can do the job first ( although that law is getting more and more relaxed). They also verify the salary of the job to see if it is worth the blue card as well as your certificates ( if they are commensurate to the German standard) and or experience as an academic qualified professional.

You should get a date after three days.

I booked an appointment on 15th October and got a date on 18th October

I was more interested in how long it takes to get an appointment date after booking. Verification seem like what is done after you must have gotten a date and submitted your application.

please share your timeline from interview date of submitting application to date you got your passport back.

Please also share the documents you put together. I just got an offer in Berlin and will be applying for a blue card soon too.
