Hi guys, I want to make enquiries about German blue card. Has anyone applied recently? I have booked appointment at the embassy and was told I'll get a date soon. How long does it take to get an appointment date after booking? Any heads up from someone who have applied recently will be appreciated. |

It all depends on the verification. It can be as quick as 5days to 3weeks and above. seunoni34: |

Re: Has Anyone Applied For Germany Blue Card by GeneralDae: 11:08pm On Oct 21, 2021 |
seunoni34:The Blue Card Visa (18b para 2) for a non EU citizen ( especially those relocating directly for the job) is given only after the Agentur für Arbeit ( German Government Work Agency) approves it. In the past they checked to see if locals or at least Europeans can do the job first ( although that law is getting more and more relaxed). They also verify the salary of the job to see if it is worth the blue card as well as your certificates ( if they are commensurate to the German standard) and or experience as an academic qualified professional. |

GeneralDae: Okay thanks for the info. I was more interested in how long it takes to get an appointment date after booking. Verification seem like what is done after you must have gotten a date and submitted your application. |

Re: Has Anyone Applied For Germany Blue Card by seunoni34(m): 5:06pm On Oct 23, 2021 |

yes the working documents has to come from your german employer no bank statement. "NPC birth certificate or Declaration of Age deposed to by head of Family (please note that an NPC birth certificate may only be accepted if the applicant is born after December 13th, 1992)" What it means is that, if your age comes before 1992, then NPC certificate may not be accepted. You will have to get an age declaration deposed by the head of family. If you go to high court, those people should have the template. I have not done it before. |

Fiestafetta:For the healthcare sector, I believe the first step is to have at least a B2/C1 level of German before you can get jobs. C1 German would be better. |
