This is the consequence of not travelling out of ur state or region.

Tiv is by far the most populated tribe in Benue state, they represent over 50% of the state and occupy about 14 out of 23 local govts areas in d state....Tiv owns benue state, No non Tiv has ever won the governorship election there.

Tiv also have significant numbers in Taraba, Nasarawa an old Plateau states.


I hope u are not saying that ijaw population is 13 million,Ijaw no reach 2.5 million people across Nigeria pls.

Ijaw might be the 2nd most populated tribe in Rivers state, But their population there is still very little compared to IGBOs in Rivers state which makes up over 70% of the populace.

Asides Bayelsa which is the least populated state in Nigeria, Ijaw is a tiny minority in every other states where they are found...And mind u that bayelsa is not 100% ijaw, Urhobo, Isoko and IGBO are also Indigenous to Bayelsa state.

Start reasoning well pls, Both citizens n non citizens of australia are less than half of IGBO population alone and IGBO landmass is less than 60,000km² whole Australias landmass is 7.3 million km².

There is something I have been questioning personally regarding SE population..

If majority of them are Christians which means they mostly practiced monogamy, why is there population almost the same with SW population that has almost 50/50 Christians and Muslims..

This is a hopeless suggestion.

So because Saudi Arabia is 97% muslim, then automatically they would be more populated than all Christian countries since they marry more than 4 wives and have many children.

When it come's to religion,Nigeria is quite diverse.Although religion in Nigeria is quite geographicaly define,some tribe's tend's to contain both inrespective of it's geographical enthity.

Top most tolerable tribe

5.gbagyi:a north-central tribe which are predominantly christian,despite that a family member with a different religion is alway's welcome

4.edo:mostly the northern part,it's quite common seeing different religion in a family.

3.idoma:although mostly christians,it not a big deal beeing a muslim.

2.igala:almost equaly divided between islam and christian,seeing two brother's with different religion is like a norm.

1.Yoruba:this is the most toleratable tribe in nigeria,a muslim husband does have any problem even if his wife is a deconess infact at time's a muslim might attend his/her friends wedding in the church.
