If Oyo state alone is almost the same land mass with all the 5 SE states, Ogun state, combination of 3 SE states it's logical to say there would be more settlement in Oyo, Ogun than all SE States.

About the post, every Nigeria census as placed the north above the south in population, either true or false anybody trying to debunk the claim must come with an hard evidence.

There are 19 states in the north with a land mass probably up to x3 of south, which partially nullify the argument of not seeing much densely populated areas.

In Nigeria there are ijaws in their homeland bayelsa,delta,Edo,rivers,akwa-ibom,ondo.And of recent they is a new Ijaw settlement in anambra and lagos.
Then don't forget about the ijaws who live outside their home land.

In countries like gabon,sierra Leone,cameroon,ghana(50,000 indegenious ijaws),Liberia they have native/indegenous ijaws .

Another thing of notice,is that some Nigeria ijaws now live in many africa countries.

Due to oil scholarship given to Nigeria ijaws,high number of them reside in europe,north america,asia and elsewhere.These diaspora Nigeria ijaws seem to have forgetten about their Nigeria Nationality.They see their new countries as home.

Even militants leaders like tompolo and dokubo etc have given many Ijaws scholarship with their private wealth.
