50' It looks as if Jagielka twisted his knee after clashing with Oxlade-Chamberlain deep inside the box. He gingerly makes his way off the pitch to receive further medical treatment but it seems as if he's going to be able to continue.

48' The corner is well dealt with by the Everton defence before they push forward on a counter attack down the left wing. Deulofeu pushes forward and swings a cross towards Lukaku, but it's overhit and ends up bouncing into the hands of Cech.

47' Great chance for Sanchez! Oxlade-Chamberlain threads an excellent pass that beats Stones before finding the Chilean, but he's put off by Coleman and ends up firing his low shot off the Irishman and out for corner.

40' Straight from the restart, Galloway embarks on a marauding run down the left wing before cutting into the penalty area, but before he's able to shoot he's dispossessed by Koscielny, who dives in front of the youngster before thumping the ball away from danger.

34' Oxlade-Chamberlain flies down the left flank before sending a low cross towards Giroud inside the Everton penalty area. It's half dealt with by the visitors' defence before Sanchez unleashes a rocket of a shot from 20 yards out, but his first-time half-volley ends up flying wide of its intended target.

33' Koscielny goes close! Ozil sends a beautiful delivery into the middle of the box from the resulting set-piece, but it ends up missing the head of the centre-back by the narrowest of margins.

32' Ozil and Sanchez play a quick one-two with one another before the latter is blocked off by Lennon, resulting in a free kick for Arsenal in a dangerous position 35 yards away from the Everton goal.

30' Barkley and Koscielny are involved in a good scrap for the ball on the left-hand side of the Arsenal penalty area, and the latter comes out on top before having his shirt tugged by the former, which results in a free kick for the hosts.

28' What a chance for Stones! A poor attempted clearance from Bellerin can only find Galloway, who then fires a long-range strike off a red and white shirt and out for a corner. It's sent towards Lennon, who then weaves his way into the box before unleashing a low cross that Cech can only push into the hands of the aforementioned centre-back. With three-quarters of the goal open, he looks set to score, but he ends up scuffing his first-time volley well over the top of the crossbar from close range.

27' Everton are enjoying a good spell of possession inside the Arsenal half of the pitch but fail to make it count after Deulofeu's bouncing cross fails to find Lukaku inside the penalty area.


Yellow card for Coquelin

25' Arsenal move the ball around slowly inside the Everton half of the pitch as they look for a way past the two lines of blue shirts in front of them. Galloway does well to win the ball back for the visitors before flying forward, but his run is brought to a premature end by a crunching challenge from Coquelin, who is shown a yellow card as a result.

23' Ozil steps up to take the corner this time and sends it straight onto the head of Gabriel. The Brazilian does well to meet the cross but can only send his headed effort looping well wide of the goal.

22' Lovely play by Arsenal! Ozil sends an excellent through-ball past a group of Everton players and into the path of Sanchez, but Jagielka does well to poke the ball out for a corner before the Chilean can get a cross away.

20' Arsenal patiently work the ball around before Ozil tries to tee up Giroud with a deft flick on the edge of the Everton penalty area. The Frenchman then tries to find his teammate once again with a well-placed through-ball, but the latter can't find a way through the sea of blue shirts camped in front of him and is unable to meet the pass.

18' Koscielny brings a dangerous Everton attacking move to an end before kick-starting a quick counter attack. Ozil then tries to find Oxlade-Chamberlain on the right wing with a curling long pass forward, but Galloway is just about able to jump in front of the ball to stop it from finding the Arsenal winger.

16' Excellent opportunity for Ozil! Sanchez tracks back and defends extremely well before launching a lovely lofted pass right onto the head of Giroud. The Frenchman knocks it down into the path of the aforementioned German, who then forces Howard into making a good save, but the referee quickly awards a free kick to Everton after deciding that the Arsenal striker had fouled Stones in an attempt to reach the ball.

15' Cazorla's corner fails to find a red and white shirt but Everton are unable to fully deal with the danger. The ball comes back to the Spaniard, who immediately swings a cross back into the box. It's underhit, however, and is easily dealt with by the visitors before Barry is fouled on the left flank

14' Arsenal work the ball around quickly on the edge of the Everton penalty area before Bellerin swings a dangerous cross into the heart of the box, but Stones is there to thump it out for yet another corner.
