1. Check the bottom of your PS3 slim, is the model make and number from CECH-20xx to CECH-25xx manu date (09/2009 to 12/2010)?
2. What is your current OFW (official firm ware) is it 3.50 or 4.4x?

Now If your have not upgraded to the current OFW 4.4x and your ps3 slim model is CECH-20xx to CECH-25xx with OFW 3.55 or below,then you can jailbreak with the required software. Else you would need any of the following hardware Progskeet v1.2 or Teensy ++2.0 or E3 Flasher

dimdim001: I dnt fink u cn jailbreak it den, wat sort of PS3 is it...jst use d official software, if ure finkin' gettin' CD's wld b hard, u cld b swappin' CD's wiv pple wen u finish games...I had a jailbroken PS3 bt it had d YLOD, I even stil hv many software games I had wiv it in an xternal HDD dat I wanna even sell nw (about 70 games), I dint even get d pleasure of playin' dem all b4 d PS3 went caput...I hv an official PS3 nw (super slim) dat I play wiv CD's & even play online (wich is rily fun)
