Those games play on 4.46 fimware so update ur console to 4.46 either tru game CD if u are on official fiemware or download latest custom firmware and update it with it if u are on custom firmware.

I googled it and saw that one would have to buy an adapter, my question is do u guys know what type of adapter, cos I google adapter and saw different stuffs from, socket adapters to plug-in extensions. I don't want to buy a Ps3 and have it blown up.

if your ps3 volt rating is 140V, then you need to get a step down adaptor.. you can get a step down transformer from any electrical shop, my mum uses one for her laptop, so its no big deal.. just make sure u neva plug it direct, if so. then its Puff and bye bye ps3....
