aroyem4u: Hi guys, am new here and I really need help. My situation is quite different. I have admission for a masters prog starting 14th october. First I was looking for sponsorship letter but finally, 8000k euros showed up so I went to the embassy 2days ago to start the block account opening process. But before now I previously had an appointment at the embassy for 13th august which I didn't cancel. So I was adviced by guys I met @ d embassy this week to write to info@diplo.de to aplogolize for not meeting d appointment and ask for another which I did. Today I was mailed and given an appointment for next thurs 5th sept. But I still don't have the blocked acct. Yet. Please guys how do I tackle this issue? How sort of questions should I expect at the interview? And hope the fact that I just started the blocked account process won't make them discard my visa application. Please advice me appropriately guys. Thanks

yes u can go for the interview because i saw 2 pple on wednesday without a blocked account and they were interview.
NOTE: U have to fund ur acct bfore ur application will be processed

chuksvoice: Please house, i just got a letter from the German uni. I applied to but everything they wrote on the letter was in german language could it be an admission letter? Please anyone with similar experience shld heip me out. The letter is sent by university of tubingen, or does it mean the course offered is only taught in german? Although the course i applied was written in english. Am just a bit confused.

topeajis: Go to the School Site and Book the accomodation at Studentenwerk.. U will See the link their i taucht u have Don that na...... Book the accomodation and Chose an Adress close to the School. It either sewemstreße or Maghalina Straße..

my problem is that all the sites are in german.lang. also pls uar in wch campus? mine is wilheminenof campus

house, even if your block account is not ready, u can go for ur interview but it wont b processed until u pay ur 8000k

nkenyy: Nope, that's not what I meant. We met 3 people in the embassy with issues pertaining to the blocked account but they still came for interview, one of them had not got confirmation , one had not see his account number for over a month and the last had still not got his account. I asked Gannasy because he was with them at the reception .

yes they were interviewed but aaked to go and put money into their blocked acct or else their applivation wont be processed. even the woman with a child that her documents were not complete was later accepted after she spoke to a white man.

house o my interview is tomorrow. make una pray for us. i tranfered my money on friday and got a confirmation dis afternoon...lucky me cos i almost gave up

From the Letter the School gave u u will See a link their about accomodation or from the School Website so u can Book the accomodation their they will pupt u on waiting List And will give u accomodation later.. And if u Want to Look for accomodation online .the School is arouNd tairpack SHA.. Go go the Studentenwerk link And registrar for accomodation.. Mickom: All the money u need to transfer to DB is 8090euro. 50euro is DB charges while the remaining 8040euro is your money when u arrive to germany and you can withdraw 670euro each months for 12months.

As regards address, I put in one of my school's recommended residences. You may also put in your school's address, which shows you're still working on accommodation. They know it isn't easy.

So make u just Start Ur Block Account stuff or make u Print the acceptance stuff sign am and Scan back to the international office.. But the Money is Important SHA.. Dont Dull that Money at all.. Try send am by Nest week. And Start Ur Visa Processes ASP as the School go Tell u to Resümee Withen a certain Date ..

they even emailed the acceptance and rejection letter to me to be retured latest by 23.08.
but my major issue is the residence permit and the insurance that they are expecting. hw do i go about it
