buygala: Muslims don't drink water, eat or chew gum n mosques during their prayers...By so doing, they show by example how others should respect their religion and Prophet
If Christians choose not to respect their own Jesus by behaving anyhow in Church, then what basis do they have to demand such respect from others?
If these same Christians are before even a Local Government Chairman, they won't be eating, drinking and chewing gum in his presence
I don't like Pastor Ibiyeomie, but but he is right on this one.. What is bad about drinking water in church? Any time one gets the urge to drink water it's a sign that the body needs rehydration. Religion has made many people slaves. |

Gagare1: Ugochukwu was healthy as anyone can be when he took his annual leave. He was excited too, because he can finally visit his aged Mom in the East. He came to the office and bid us goodbye - we wished him the best experience as he visits home. Nothing seems out of the ordinary.
A month passed. We were anticipating Ugo's return, but we got a call instead - Ugo is hospitalized due to "malaria" which excalated so fast that he had blood in his brain. How? Why? Where? I don't understand!
This morning, we received news of his death. It makes no sense. Absolutely no sense.
Is it now a crime to visit your village and see your aged mother? Is it now a crime to go home with gifts for family members? Is it now a crime to succeed in your career? Do you have any idea the battles he had to face to make it that far?
Ugo, God will judge every person that has a guilty hand in your death. I refuse to accept it as natural. There is nothing natural about a vibrant young manager dying at the very point of his breakthrough, in the arms of his aged mother, simply because he visited home.
Ugo's case has brought it home for me. I don't trust no one hence forth. I don't want any id10t around me. And I certainly don't have to visit any 4king village.
Now I understand why people relocate after making it.
Evil m4kers!
RIP Ugo!
Avenge your death!
Kill them all! I don't mean to offend you bro, but is this a true story? |

patrickcollins: Those you mentioned can't trouble the Governor, Wike can't fight Fubara directly, he doesn't have such power, he is doing it via proxy, just using the Rivers house of Assembly to make the state ungovernable. Any Governor can only be fought through impeachment, who else can fight a Governor in a state. You've said it all. Once Fubara finds a way to cage Amaewhule and his goons, Wike is caged. |

press9jatv: Anyanwu sacked, Tinubu backs Fubara, chief judge rejects letter, Wike 7-0 down
The signs are telling on the FCT minister. Do they need a soothe Sayer to tell them that their political empire is crumbling?
This week has been one of the worst weeks in Wike's political career. The ship is sinking for the good of everyone.
I remember all the boastings that the FCT minister made during his 17 days thank you visit to all 23 LGAs, one of the boastings was indirectly against Mr president
The FCT minister boasted and said: "I hear that some people are saying they will call me and tell me what to do. Nobody will call me, Rivers State is a no go area "
But today now how market?
Now many senior APC officials found that statement too authoritive for an appointee to make and boast in that manner, that even the president who appointed him cannot call him concerning Rivers State. Haba na
Well as we speak, president Tinubu has even done worse than privately calling the FCT minister to order, he has publicly backed gov Fubara as the leader of the state, indirectly drawing a red line for the FCT minister that look "you can't mess around with the leader of APC in Rivers State, you are not in APC so don't dare
This is coming immediately after the chief judge rejected the letter on gross misconduct from the Rivers assembly, that he cannot act against the existing court injunction
And also coming after his strongest political ally Samuel Anyanwu was dismissed from the court as the PDP national secretary
All these things happening just within a week
And more will likely follow, especially the appeal that has been filed by Mr speaker against the high court injunction placed on the impeachment proceedings will likely fail, the court will likely throw out the matter for lack of merit
So the ball is now in the court of the FCT minister, he has no option than to obey President Tinubu's message by withdrawing all his ongoing moves against the governor.
Especially for the appeal filed by Mr Speaker, If they are not eaten up by desperation, then they should respect the body language and position of Mr President and withdraw that appeal and end their illegal impeachement proceedinds once and for all
But if they fail to stop then what Tinubu will do to their career is too heavy for my tongue to say, it will come like a suinami on them
Alvin Idamieibi Igoni Benstowe, senior concerned citizen of Rivers State Even Abure has been sacked from LP. |
Food › Re: The Hidden Danger Of Falling Food Prices In Nigeria by Ganjafama(m): 8:13pm On Jan 23 |
TechToyin: Many people are happy that food prices are coming down. On the surface, it looks like good news. But there is a serious danger most people are not talking about.
Cheaper food is good for consumers, but not always good for farmers While buyers enjoy relief, many farmers are selling at a loss.
Cost of farming is still very high Fertilizer, diesel, transport, labour, and insecurity are still expensive. Prices fell, costs did not.
Farmers are losing capital Most Nigerian farmers use money from the last harvest to fund the next season. Losses now mean no money later.
Many farmers may not plant next season When farmers cannot afford seeds, fertilizer, or labour, they reduce production or quit entirely.
This leads to future food shortages Less planting today means less food tomorrow, which will push prices up again.
Nigeria has no strong price support system There are no effective minimum price guarantees or working buffer stock programs to protect farmers.
Poor storage forces distress sales Because farmers can’t store food, they rush to sell during harvest when prices are lowest.
Middlemen and traders also suffer losses Oversupply and weak demand affect the entire value chain, not just farmers.
Price instability scares investors away Serious investors avoid agriculture when prices swing wildly from profit to loss.
Low prices today can mean hunger tomorrow If farmers collapse, Nigeria will depend more on imports and face worse food inflation later.
Bottom line: The problem is not high prices or low prices. The real problem is unstable prices. If Nigeria does not protect farmers now, today’s cheap food will become tomorrow’s food crisis. So you prefer food prices being on the high side? You must be an enemy of progress. |

Majority of women prefer successful and powerful men. Not baby faces without financial security. I have been with women who have been top class ladies and celebrities in Nigeria since I was 21, including biracial and Caucasian beauties and among the richest women in Nigeria. Here I am in my early 60s still looking great without filters, without enhancement and without makeup.
