jayjagz: Nobody is saying schooling will make you rich but we want you to know that if you pass through school and you allow school to pass through you, you can actually be better than who you will be if you don't go to school depending on yourself and attitude towards you future. In my humble opinion, if you say Dangote didn't go to school and he's the richest man in Africa, why can you think that he might as well have been among the top 5 richest in the world had he gone to school?then Carlos Slim nko or Bill Gate abeg you got no point if i can be as better as Dangote then Bleep school |
fabby26: Even some so called polys that boost of being grounded or trained in technical and practical training lack most if not all essential equipment required to make the person good technically more than his/her university counterpart that mainly engage in theory and research, so most poly students are in dearth of that requisite technical skills. Suffice to say that most polytechnics are just glorified secondary schools per say. Even the secondary school i attended has better equipped laboratories than some polytechnics that acclaimed to be technically-oriented, due to poor funding. If government wants the polys to be in par with or even greater than Unis, the govt should matter of fact equip the polys with state-of-art and cutting-edge tools for technical training and also upgrade the crop of lecturers in poly to Profs, and PhDs in technology. Polys should also engage in research. Even if polys are not good theoretically, at least they should be abreast of latest cutting edge technological advancement as it is obtainable in other technical schools & polys in developed economy.what a pity... glorified secondary school then what would you call a computer science student from a university like Unilag or Uniben that cant identify a keyboard or a mechanical engineer from AAU that cant identify a spanner am actually full of sympathy ask your self why with so many b.sc with have the so callled facilities they still find it very difficult to work out their way in the labour market hmmmmmm..... with so much intellectual yet noting to write home about. with so much being thought yet some uni. student still find it difficult to write an application letter so much pain |
lymelyte: Guy,if u like go school or nor go. E nor concern me! U hear! Afterall, nor b me u dey do.guy how much do you have in your bank account since you finished school ![]() yet you go still carry c.v dey summit for Dangote for truck driving pity........... pity.............. ![]() |

lymelyte: Guy most of the men you listed went to school.GOING to school does not guarantee you financial stability rather,it gives you an edge too do well by applying literate, civilized skills in handling and taking progressive decision later in life.most of them u are kidding me please make your research how many went to school before making money !!!!!!!! |
Mnewton: i agree with what u re saying..its my own opinion though....the issue on ground is that of a very few eggs spoiling d rest..am not saying dat all polytecnic s have limited number of teachers.that will be a fallacy of hasty generalization...but the few i know re d ones changing my perspective about polytecnic education...we conducted an interview recently nd a poly student was asked d difference btw 2 * 4 and 4 * 2.......gush he was so confused dat he got it wrong...u must be a uni. student i want to let you know that if you can come out from auchi poly with an upper credit then i assuring you that you would acquire a first class in the university. please make your research before spilling out trash they a lot of university graduate that can not even write letter of application gosh beat that... |
pendusky: am watching!!watching what !!! |
Harrisonn: you did not mention Tompolo and yahoo boys..guy sorry i forgot it |
Mnewton: i am not saying dat their teachers re bad...there is a popular chinese proverb i quote'show me your teacher and i will tell the stuff u re made up of' @ the university u ve countless number of qualified professors and doctors...bt in most polytecnic there re imitited number of qualified teachers..... E.g kogi state polytecnic has only one professor which happens to be the rector of the university....MR MAN STORY THAT TOUCHES PLEASE MAKE YOUR RESEARCH WELL IN AUCHI POLY WE HAVE COUNTLESS OF PROFESSORS. EVEN ITS A COMPETITION BETWEEN THE YOUNG LECTURERS SO PLEASE STOP THAT TEACHER STUFF...... |
Mnewton: There is no much difference btw HND nd B.SC..... D only difference is d teacher...HELLO..... TEACHER IN WHAT ARE TRYING TO SAY THE TEACHERS IN POLY ARE LESS QUALIFIED TO THE ONCE IN THE POLY...... PLEASE DON'T JUST REPEAT THAT AGAIN HAVE A TRIP TO AUCHI TO FIND OUT YOUR SELF. WE HAVE PERFECT QUALIFIED, YOUNG AND OLD LECTURERS SO BEWARE!!!!!!!!! OF YOUR COMMENT |

i dont really get why all this condemnation and critics in the labour market i am presently a student of Auchi polytechnic and i have some friends that have gotten their HND and even some that have obtained their B.sc yet i don't see the difference in both. i happened to come across some guys discussing about an institution to fill in the up coming jamb Exam and one of them was saying he was planning to attend a polytechnic only to get a serious warning from his Dad stating that HND is not a certificate, that he should aim in getting the cut -off mark of a university in other to acquire a B.sc cert. i was very offended cause i really cant get the reason for the critics, My cousin is 300 year student of university of illorin studying nursing yet i can beat my hand on my chest to say i don't see any different between her and me and i don't believe she would get a job offer before me because i believe in most of this so called university they dont attain the so called standard attached to them. with my experience in the poly. i can even say i 100% prefer a poly. to a uni. and a HND to A B.sc that's my take on this. whats yours...? |

Nomski0: I sat down in the church during harvest, only for some really annoying usher to order me to stand up because that was a reserved seat. So i was supposed to sit somewhere else- far from the altar- just because someone who might still be eating at home and strolling to church should sit there while i, who woke up super early and skipped breakfast just to find a comfortable seat should stand up.that is becoming very obvious in churches this days |
Tolexander: OP, i had your kind of embarrassing experience from an usher.guy abeg i no be like you ooo we didn't have the same experience if i was the usher i for drive you comot for church ![]() |
Syncan: Depends on when you joined in the Mass, if that is what you attended. The Catholic mass is same all over, it is broadcasted on TV some times, you can verify your claims from any of them. However, since you've made your conclusion; why do you ask the question?i asked because i wanted to know if there was a backyard preaching before or after the mass simple!!!!!!!!! ![]() |
yorex2011: well...sorry if u feel dat way....but its all good if u attend a gospel preaching church...we are all brothers worshipping one Godyes thats true but i feel the catholic priest should add gospel in their service and should reduce all those many many hymns and preamble |
sauer: My friend, you didn't know all this time that a church is merely a charade? Bro, front row seats are reserved, just like at a show.lol you mean am guy no be small thing |
yorex2011: catholic churches preach d gospelto me they don't preach real Gospel they just display sum preamble |
yorex2011: it depends on what u mean by preach...if u mean telling u that u will have money dis yr...preaching prosperity all through....catholic churches preach about sin ,salvation,..and the core things of christianity....and i'm not saying this because am a catholic but because its d truth....i've been invited to pentecostal churches too and many of which wud preach on prosperity forgetting bout sin and salvation....there was one i once went to that preached about himself travelling abroad that year, prosperity, all through...(never mentioned anyrhing on sin or salvation)only a few that really preach on sin and salvation which i believe shud be the core of preaching....meaning |
i went to church last week and i went to the front row to look for chair to seat down only to finally seat down and seeing the usher coming to my side he told me to stand up and go to the other side i asked him the reason he asked me to move he just kept quiet and demonstrated with his for me to move out of the seat i felt so embarrassed i just quietly stood up and looked at him gosh i felt like breaking his head i met him after church only for him to tell me that i should learn to obey instructions in the church to receive the blessing from i got so angry that i had to tell him he should thank God were in church if not i should have done something hasty what is the most annoying experience you have had with an usher in the church premises |
ckkris: King David dancehow do they dance that one |
italo: What do you people gain from telling lies?no body is lying it was what i experienced very simple |
sкчscrαρεr™:BROS I THINK SAY NA ONLY ME OOOO ![]() sosososo offering |
you see people these days going to church and dancing different type of dance actually my pastor was provoked to anger to the extent he started warning the youth about improper dance i was surprised because i thought every dance was valid as long as it was for Christ but my pastor said we should dance in a proper way to glorify God so the question is was is the proper way to dance in the church ![]() ![]() / |
