Agents of change,

There is a fake agent lurking among us. He is a TANoid at night and a fake CHANGE agent at day. I do not know who he is trying to impress on a faceless forum. Dont be surprised if tomorrow, he creates a thread of how he made a mistake all along, ans wants us to vote for the clueless one again.

Remember FFK, he was a supposed CHANGE agent in the day, but @ night he sat and dined with touts, vampires and thieves. HE finally came out openly to declare he is back to the killer party. That is what we should be expecting soon from this fake CHANGE agent.

Hence forth he should be treated, addressed and considered as a TANoid, till he traces his steps back. There is no room for someone who talks with 2 sides of his mouth. It is total disloyalty and dishonesty to create a gibberish like this » Interim National Government: One Propaganda Too Many with the reality on ground. This is just the latest among the series of suspicious posts and comments.

We have decided to March for Buhari, no matter how many moles planted among us.

i thank cleverly and orignal sincerenigerian et all for placing the fake CHANGE agent where he belongs; a place for clowns.

@APC fans.

I can tell you all 100% that Barcanista is not who you think he is. Cleverly, Omenka, Rawani, Sincerenigerian, genius100 and others have worked him out somewhat with their gut instinct but I can tell you guys I have 100% proof Barcanista is a divisive and entirely self-serving individual, much like GEJ, who is working for his own agenda and motivated by what he can get for himself. Dude has PMed me a few times. His PM are all self-serving requests even the most self-serving mercenary would be proud of. I graciously and diplomatically 'swept him aside' every time because I don't trust people I do not know and I am aware that people can be full of deceit and claim to be what they are not.

As an honourable man, I will not reveal the content of the PMs from Barcanista. Suffice to say I have been a member of this forum for 5 years and people know I am solid, dependable and stand for what I stand for yesterday, today and tomorrow. Barcanista switches sides like a prostitute. I became aware of him on NL because of his passionate defence of Obanikoro. I pointed out to him that Obanikoro is a failure and Nairalanders can go and trace our exchanges back then. Today , backing Koro no longer 'pays' for Barcanista. I have watched all his antics of late and laughed to myself. I would even have continued to ignore this thread and let Barcanista carry on with his two-faced attempt at deceiving the biggest online community of Nigerians, because I felt I owed him a dignified slience over our PM exchanges that shame him and reveal his true motivation, if Barcanista had not gone too far with his "Now you know your friends" quip.

I can tell you all this guy is a self-serving turncoat trying to play all sides against each other and profit personally in the process. APC fans know me here and many understand I am not interested in attention, money or anything else. I just want a Nigeria that works. Not so self-serving individuals like Barcanista. I really struggled with my conscience to come out with this because I did not want to out Barcanista even as I also felt strongly about what he is doing which I know to be dangerous and pure grade A deceit. I had felt I owed Nairalanders the truth about Barcanista for a long time but I also wrestled with the fact that a PM (Private message) should remain that and not be used to compromise anyone. That said, I knew what Barcanista was up to when he began initiating subtle anti-APC threads. I had hoped he would come to his senses and change his ways especially because Barcanista knows he has shown himself to an outspoken APC supporter in myself. Yet Barcanista did not stop. Instead he grew more brazen in his attempt to deceive the forum and begin his new 'contract' of working for and laundering the image of GEJ.

APC fans, I sincerely urge you guys to begin ignoring this guy. We are here to gain a better Country. Politics is not even my thing per se. I am here because I want a better Nigeria. Someone called Barcanista an "enemy within" earlier. That is what he is and I warn APC fans to be strong and united because the 7 weeks postponement of the election is to facilitate a huge financial drive to sabotage Buhari through the use of anyone who makes their mercenary services available to the PDP for monetary reward. Barcanista wants to leverage on what he assumes to be his "APC Nairaland leader" popularity to begin sabotaging the chances of the Party from within. I have warned APC fans. Barcanista forced my hand with his deceitful behaviour and pretense. He went too far, knowing I know what he is about, with his "I am objective" duplicity. The last straw that broke the Camel's back is his " I Know my friends" attempt , after I know the deceit he is practising, to make out APC supporters have now turned against him wrongly. Many of you know my integrity is not in doubt here. I am still here after many of my Nairaland contemporaries have left because I passionately want a Nigeria that works as well as the nations of the world I have access to. When Barcanista starts these sort of threads, kindly ignore him so he can talk to his PDP comrades. Barcanista is exactly like Femi Fani-Kayode.

Goodluck Jonathan would go down as the worst president in Nigeria's history. First and foremost we all know that this Washington post op-ed is part of the $1.2million paid to PR firm in DC to up his severely damaged image in the world, Here are some obvious loop holes in this deluded oped.

1. He claims to be fighting corruption. Yet, post humorously gives Sani Abacha a National award after it has been proven that stashed billions of dollars in foreign banks.

2. He drops charges against Mohammed Abacha after it was proven that he laundered over $2billion

3. He claims to fight corruption yet, he pardoned a former governor that stole over $100 million from his state and made him an elder states man in his party.

4. He claims to fight corruption, yet kicks out one of the best Central Bank governor NIgeria has ever had. What was his crime? He said over $20billion was missing from state treasury.

5. He claims to be silent to allow security agencies do their work. Yet his soldiers are inadequately equipped, fight book haram with only 1 or 2 loaded magazines, and run for their dear lives whenever book haram strikes enmasse. In all these Nigeria has the largest military budget in all of africa yet cannot secure their land.

6. Goodluck Jonathan is a joke, and anyone who takes him serious is also a joker. 1000s are being killed everyday in Nigeria and this Goodluck of man is here writing a deluded op-ed file with nothing but lies

PoliticsPresidency Sets-up Task-force On Ezekwesili's Remarks by garrix8(op): 11:08am On Jan 30, 2013
EXCLUSIVE: Presidency sets up “high-level” task force on Ezekwesili’s “damaging” remarks

Ben Ezeamalu - 3 hours ago

National, News

An obviously rattled Nigerian presidency has cobbled together an informal committee made up of top administration officials to provide a blistering response to a former Vice President of the World Bank, Obiageli Ezekwesili, who has accused President Goodluck Jonathan and his predecessor of squandering over N10 trillion of Nigeria’s oil savings left behind by former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

A presidential source familiar with the matter said President Jonathan administration was especially rattled by the former minister’s remark, and that he immediately ordered his top aides to provide a comprehensive response to the former minister’s claim, considered damaging enough to incite Nigerians against the regime.

Our source said Mr. Jonathan specifically instructed his Chief of Staff, Mike Oghiadomhe, to coordinate the damage control needed to check the fallout of Mrs. Ezekwesili’s remark.

It was Mr. Oghiadomhe  who then constituted a committee comprising Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Coordinating Minister for the Economy and Minister of Finance; Labaran Maku, Minister of Information; Sylvester Monye, Special Adviser to the President on Monitoring and Evaluation; Bright Okogu, Director General, Budget Office of the Federation and Nwanze Okidegbe, Chief Economic Adviser to the President.

Also drafted into the team were Olasupo Olusi, Technical Assistant to the Minister of Finance and coordinator of the YouWin! Project; and Doyin Okupe, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Public Affairs.

Our source said the team met and mapped out the framework for an aggressive response to Mrs. Ezekwesili’s remark. For a start, Mrs. Okonjo-Iweala’s office was mandated to provide detailed response to all the issues raised by the former minister at the convocation lecture she gave at the University of Nigeria.

Mrs Okonjo-Iweala then instructed her aide, Mr. Olusi, to urgently study Mr. Ezekwesili’s speech, and then provide an ideal response to her.

By Saturday afternoon, the finance minister’s aide, Mr. Olusi, had completed a draft which was then circulated to the rest of the team for review.

A final copy of the government’s response was sent to the information minister on Saturday night ahead of the press conference he addressed on Sunday afternoon.

After the press conference where he described Mrs Ezekwesili’s claims as “fallacious”, and betraying a “surprisingly limited” understanding of government finances, Mr. Maku also requested the Special Assistant to the President on Social Media, Reno Omokri, to aggressively confront the former minister on Twitter and Facebook, our source said.

Mr. Omokri immediately picked up the gauntlet, using his Twitter handle to tear at Mrs. Ezekwesili and describing her conduct as resembling that of a wicked stepmother.

Another member of the task force, Mr. Okupe, began his own part of the assignment on Tuesday. In a statement, Mr. Okupe accused Mrs. Ezekwesili of grandstanding and deliberately misleading Nigerians.

“It is obviously preposterous for Mrs. Oby Ezekwesili to be asking for a National debate on the outlandish and reckless disinformation she made to incite the Nigerian people against the government,” Mr. Okupe said. “This was a deliberately calculated, albeit unsuccessful effort to bring the Jonathan Administration into disrepute unjustifiably.”

Our sources said Mr. Okupe would continue on the campaign against Mrs Ezekwesili in the days ahead, appearing on TV and commissioning opinion articles critical of the former minister in select newspapers and websites.

Mrs. Ezekwesili, who served as minister during the Obasanjo administration, made the allegation of financial mismanagement against the administration while delivering a keynote address at the 42nd convocation ceremony of the University of Nigeria.

According to the former World Bank executive, the country had about $45 billion in its foreign reserve account and $22 billion in the Excess Crude revenue Account saved by the Obasanjo administration, which handed over in 2007 to Mr. Yar’adua.

With all due respect sir, I think the bolded part of ur comment is actually senseless. Afam is just being intellectually lazy. He's been around long enough to know how to organise a debate. Besides, Seun has pledged to fully support this month's debate. So what's the blame game about.

If this month's debate fails, it will be a pointer to the level of ineptitude, cluelessness and intellectual laziness of the organisers..

Oh! I forgot, its actually in ur genes to blame everyone else except urself for ur failures... cheesy

Countryman93: Theres urgent need for a common sense vaccination for we nigerians to begin to fish out the conspiracy theories in our politics . Theres a saying that to whom a brain is given sense is expected. I know that after reading the things i will drop here, thousands of folks will kill me with different labels. No wahala that is the cross of good conscience and right judgement away from general public feelings and ill conceived perception.

Mallam Elrufai deceived madam skin punk Ezekwesili to enter an ill fated accountability battle with the FG with promise of VP Slot come 2015 insha allah. Now she's locked in a battle that will gradually become her undoing. The same Elrufai that confiscated lands and even allocated some to his friend in deceit (skin punk oby) with which she gave her so called pastor husband to erect a monumental church in Abuja.

But after the storm settles about her fictitious rantling, the question remains; what happened to the huge education funds she collected within 7 months? (not to mention the funds she collected in Solid minerals Ministry)

let the acclaimed madam due process set herself as example by accounting to Nigerians first. let me mention that truly she"s one of the few folks that have made us proud but she has soiled her reputation by becoming a politician. She has joined Soludo in ignominy. As for Elrufai, he is locked in a deadly battle with the Holy Spirit in an attempt to defend his purported running mate come 2015 insha allah from allegation of misappropriation of huge education funds in 7 months.

I hate it when folks begin to run their mouth as soon as they vacate office and are not recalled. No Nigerian is indispensable no matter ur proffessorial majesty. Oby Ezekwesili and her ilk pride themselves as indispensable and the only knowledgable people with the magic wand to change Nigeria. And even more annoying is that they wear a fake garment of religious piety after contributing to our problems. the Onus is on nigerians to shine their eyes to all this ongoing deceit of the public for fame and power.

how many times did she engage in debate when she was minister? she should not worry when Maku leaves office she should come for debate then she will receive the rudest shock of her life that she's been overrating her self.

Elrufai has been caught in his web of evil hatred and deceit. Tribute to the dying Elrufai hausa fulani dynasty; FROM DIVIDE AND RULE to DECEIVE AND RULE? no way. not this time and age my people. This is not about GEJ its about rescuing the people from Men and women of Evil venom in beautiful disguise. Nigeria must and will be freed in the midst of fake apostles of change and accountability. Nonsense!
Ezekwesili's shyte is worth more than Liebaran Maku's life...
