The Dutch organization is looking for volunteers to travel to the Red Planet and to settle there on a permanent basis with no immediate way to get back. Despite this fact, thousands of people have already applied for the voyage. Unlike agencies such as NASA who will only launch a mission if the astronauts have a way to return home afterwards, the privately funded Mars One project openly acknowledges that the technology simply isn't there to return its astronauts to the Earth. Instead, anyone who goes to Mars would be on their own and would rely on founding a settlement on the planet to survive. Mars One will be broadcasting many aspects of the project, including the astronaut selection process, via a reality TV format. It is hoped that this will help to fund the mission as well as to encourage private companies to invest. The trip is not without its risks of course - not only will the astronauts be stranded on Mars but they'll be exposed to cosmic radiation and be subjected to all manner of untested conditions. http://www.unexplained-mysteries.com/viewnews.php?id=246391 |

Christopher Crist claims that he went into a dentist office to get a few painful teeth pulled. When he walked out, he had none. The 21-year-old Indiana man, who is autistic, told Fox 59 that his mom sent him to Amazing Family Dental in Indianapolis to get three of his teeth removed. But instead of ending the procedure with three pulled teeth, the dentist kept going, Crist says. "They pulled every last one of them," he told the station. "I am going to look like a freak now." He says the gruesome operation began after the dentist gave him some pills to ease the pain of the procedure, WTVR reports. In addition, Fox News tracked down several other people who claimed that the office pulled more teeth than requested. Rose Hill says she visited the office when one tooth was bothering her, yet the dentist pulled her entire bottom row of teeth out. House, imagine yourself without a single tooth in your mouth.
