royal34: Hey guys, please i need your input. i booked my tb test for 8th and my visa appointment for 10th. The issue is that my 28th day falls on d 8th and since i stay outside lagos, i intend going to lagos on the 7th. my dad is suggesting that the bank sends me the bank statement via email and then ild print it out. is that going to be accepted?
Also he wants me to use two bank statements. one has the 5million + , untouched (ie no transaction has been carried out in d acc since i put in d money). The oda one he says is to show them how his money is coming in and going out though there is little or no money in it. is the second acc statement really neccessary?
Lastly, how much does the tb test cost and what is the mode of payment?

Tb test is 21,040. Either u pay at the citi bank or use bank transfer. It is better you pay physically at the bank because sometimes it takes time for it to reflect kn their account.

abode: I had same issue when I applied for my Tier 2 visa ,fee is $1,758, all I did was to go to Ikeja VAC and they told me that I would have to wait till 2pm before they wld attend to Previous appointment

Yea i did go there after abt a week bt i was tld i hd to rebook b cus it was tier 4 n i had to do interview blah blah blah, they asked me to wait n they went to see their supervisor. Same story.

mrbavs: @gbemmiey,You can send a mail to abuja.refund@fco.gov.uk giving them a detailed and convincing explanation for seeking a refund, i also had a similar issue and was able to get a refund last week, make sure you are seeking for a genuine refund, meaning you must have not done a biometric scan nor have submited your application before or taking an interview.
It should take about a month for your money to be physically present in your account.

I have sent them mails twice now, no reply nor acknowledgement

I booked for my tier 4 visa appointment at the VFS ikeja, but on getting there i was told my appointment was cancelled becos i booked a wrong appointment. Then i was told to rebook. but the problem now is that i do not have the option to rebook anymore. Please advice on what to do?

Wasnt with my tb test so couldnt do the appointment. I had to start a new application n pay again. Then ask for refund for the previous one ( they have not replied my mail tho)

pholareen1: Well, the image you posted is not showing here, but i presume it is the part of the tracking where most of the processes are still blocked red. If that is the case, you should just reload the page as it happens like that sometimes. I experience that anytime i try to track my application.


When did you apply or submit biometrics

Mine went from transferred to ukvi to appointment. Lol.

ZaraOli: Alhamdulillahi. I got an email that my visa has been processed and approved. I did my biometrics at Ikeja on 18/8/14. That was pretty fast. Thanks guys.

This information wasnt included in my CAS. i emailed the uni since wednesday about this but i didnt get a reply yet. so i want to be clear about this, are they asking for the uni's phone number or wat?

That should be the uni's phone number, u can check their website under "contact us"

sashacoleman: After 36 workings days, almost two month later, UKVI misplacing my documents, telling me that they are sorry and that I should go and get a new passport, after calling and sending numerous emails, prayers and fasting, they eventually found the misplaced documents. Almighty God has done it for me. Finally my visa has come out. Please help me thank God.

So i was able to get my tb test pushed back and i got the result yesterday. Yippe!!! . Had to rebook by appointment cus i wasnt allowed to enter at the gate as @spikeC said and sadly there was no space in ikj.

Heading to vi on monday with fasting and prayer. Thanks for all your help and good luck to everyone

sashacoleman: Another thing u can do, if u can afford it, is to go to Abuja and do the test, u get the result d same day and then u apply in abuja. Its faster all the way.

Done that already, got booked for 28 aug. Diff of one working day

spikesC: Try and get an earlier date for the test. If ur 28days count ends after the test is done, try and pay on the morning of the 28th day, book ur appointment for that day and submit on that day.

Sept 15 is the first resumption date, so ask the school for extra 2 weeks and submit at abuja. See you in greenwich

28 days had been ready since , went for the appointment on 5th bt i was asked to get a tb test done. So na the test dey delay me. Hopefully it wld work out dine insha Allah so see u in greenwich
