sonnie10: MEMO TO MY PRESIDENT, THE THIEF CATCHER...
My dear Mr. President, Rankadede sir.
There is always this sense of excitement from your supporters whenever they hear that someone (always from the opposition) has been invited by EFCC. They go overdrive whenever figures are mentioned.
Let me make it clear: I am 100% in support of you if you go after those who were awarded contracts and collected money without working. I will be your anti-corruption ambassador of you go after service chiefs who diverted money meant for their services. I support you if you go after banks who aided money laundering. I am your man if you go after those itchy fingers at FIRS. Or those who collected defence contacts and subsidy claims and ran away. BUT YOU CAN NEVER BE MY GUY WITH THIS YOUR PROBING OF CAMPAIGN FUNDS. You know why? You are more GUILTIER than those you are pursuing!
It is not only immoral, but against law of natural fairness for you who publicly announced that you borrowed money to buy your nomination form, but ran a campaign of hundred of billions of naira. Where did your money come from? Let tell you certain things which you know about or pretending not to know.
* When Akin Ambode resumed as governor of Lagos State, the total money he reportedly met in ALL Lagos State bank accounts was a paltry N850m! It was the lowest in recent memory. Not that alone. Capital budget for the fiscal year had been executed up to 85%! Yet, that was just FIVE months to the year. We only saw capital spending without capital projects. If they present these facts before you, you cannot deny you don't know where these monies went to.
*Rivers State has been complaining over almost N100b missing few months to the end of one of your minister's tenure as governor. Invite Wike over and you will hear ween!
* Each state being ruled by your party was taxed to contribute to your campaign. Depending on the strength of their treasuries. But they tried to outdo themselves. Sir, can you swear by Allah that you don't know why many states could not pay salaries today? Ask your campaign treasurer! And also banks they took overdrafts from!
* One of your ministers today, who is seen as agents of change, actually took N1b bank loan to prosecute a second term election he lost in 2014. If you are keen at probing campaign funds, sit him down and ask how he intends to pay back. As I write this, the loan is still pending!
* There are couple of banks and oil service companies who contributed to your campaign funding too. Your EFCC has pretended as if it is not aware.
Politicians know themselves. They know how they fund campaigns. It is public funds. Contracts are inflated or outrightly not carried out. Funds are diverted. Banks play their own role. Contractors key in. On the eve of election, banks overwork themselves. From minister/commissioner down to special assistants, cash is provided for them to go and prosecute elections in their areas. These runs into billions. Is that acceptable? NO! BUT THAT WAS HOW YOUR OWN ELECTION WAS PROSECUTED TOO.
I learnt you turned the blind eye when all these were going on. You jettisoned your long held personal principle not to have anything to do with thieves. After winning election and assuming office, you wanted to pick that principle again and expect someone like me to hail you? No sir! Lailai!
Since you saw nothing wrong in people stealing to run your own campaign, you have no moral justification to go after those who equally stole to run their own campaigns too. Public funds are public funds, either in Abuja or Lagos!
I will continue this campaign until your DSS picks me up. That's the worst they can do!
Assurances of my highest regards! Say me well to the First Lady. Sorry, Wife of the Thief Catcher. Sorry again, Wife of the President...

ebenco2000: Maybe president of clueless people like him, Not Nigeria, are you people serious at all, Jonathan is weak , very weak, we need someone with balls to rule Nigeria,I am not surprised that some of you are blaming Buhari for our problems, but we are all responsible for it, change must start with the person in the mirror, we are all corrupt, and we can have a better future if mistakes of the past are not corrected, did Buhari cause fuel scarcity? why didn't GEJ build refineries when we had money instead he decided to give his party members licence to import fuel, we know the story behind that, several billions down the drain,on power, the plants were sold to friends and party associates who don't have experience to manage power plants.is that Buharis problem? dont let us even talk about Dasuki gate, millions died because money meant to fight Boko Haram was diverted and here you are saying GEJ in 2019? In a civilised country GEJ will be at the International Court of Justice facing prosecution for Genocide because indirectly he killed all the people that died. so if you want GEJ to even be your local government chairman, good luck to you. after all he is from Niger delta,d 1st man to become president, he didn't built even an oil Refinenary,God willing if did man buhari should build another refinenary,GEJ must be thrown into d pit. |

Politics › Re: Jonathan Lists His Legacies In New Jersey by gbenga2de: 11:40am On Apr 23, 2016 |
neolboy: Former president, Goodluck Jonathan yesterday touched on some of the legacies of his administration while speaking to Friends of Africa Coalition on “Strengthening Democracy and Elections” at the mayor’s office in Newark, New Jersey, United States.
Speaking to the elite group, Jonathan said the 2015 general elections in Nigeria had potential for major crisis and that the campaigns leading to the elections almost polarised the country into Christian v Muslims and North v South divide.
The former president said that most world leaders were worried that the elections would result into major crisis.
“Some pundits even from here in the United States said that those elections would spell the end of Nigeria and that we would cease to exist as a nation because of the polls. That is where the leadership question comes into play.
“As a leader that was duly elected by the people, I considered the people’s interest first. How do I manage my people to avoid killings and destruction of properties? With the interest of the people propelling all the decisions I took, we were able to sail through. Indeed, we sailed through because I refused to interfere with the independence of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, having appointed a man I had never met in my life to run it.
“My philosophy was simple. For elections to be credible, I as a leader, must value the process more than the product of the process. And the citizens must have confidence in the electoral body,” he said.
Jonathan said his strict adherence to the rule of the law ensured that Nigeria’s peace, prosperity and progress were not derailed by the conduct and results of the 2015 elections.
Speaking on the other legacies of his administration, he said: “I am proud to say that while I took over a Nigeria that was the second largest economy in Africa with a GDP of $270.5 billion in 2009, I handed over a Nigeria that had grown to become the largest economy in Africa and the 24th largest economy in the World with a GDP of $574 billion.
“I inherited a Nigeria in which the trains were not working, and handed over a Nigeria in which citizens can safely travel by trains again.
I inherited a Nigeria that was a net importer of cement, and handed over a Nigeria that is a net exporter of cement. In 2009 the richest Nigerian was the 5th richest man in Africa, but I handed over a Nigeria that produced the richest man in Africa.
“These are but a few of the parameters that illustrate some of the economic transformations we engineered during my term in office.”
The former president said this success was made possible by the fact that there was a stable political leadership in Nigeria that did not have to pander to any other constituency except the electorate who brought him to power.
Jonathan also argued that if the process that brought leaders to power “did not flow through the people, they naturally administered their governments to first and foremost serve the constituencies that brought them to power.”
Jonathan also met with the CEO of Moskeeto Armor, Robin R. Crespo and his team as part of events leading up to the World Malaria Day on April 25th, 2016.
Moskeeto Armor manufactures clothing to protect against malaria, the zika virus, Denue and other vector-borne diseases.
It was successfully clinically field-tested in Nigeria in 2014.
When worn by children as a standalone product, Moskeeto Armor was 90% effective at reducing the malaria infection rate, and when combined with a bed net, the Moskeeto Armor combination was 97% effective at stopping the spread of malaria.
The Goodluck Jonathan Foundation is partnering with Moskeeto Armor to protect African children against malaria and other vector-borne diseases.
“The simple principle of ‘Love your neighbour as you love yourself’ lays a foundation of commitment to protecting nations,” said Jonathan during the meeting with Moskeeto Armor.
Continuing, he said “these crises caused by such small insects, transmitting these deadly diseases, have devastated so many lives across Africa and the world, but with one just as small idea, there is hope for a better tomorrow.”
source:www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2016/04/23/in-new-jersey-jonathan-lists-his-legacies/ now d question is,if what he said where truth.can he tell us how much he left in d foreign reserves? we are not fool as he is,he produced Dangote how many Nigerians did Dangote employed during Jonathan tenure? how much is d cement then and now how are th3y selling it in the market now,I don't why Nigerians are so in hurry, after all did man hasn't spend up to a year, one is eben saying dey need Jonathan back, witcraft powers at work God forbid,so he cannot mention any poor citizens becomes rich. poorGEJ |

Igbos open your eyes...the plan is to suspend all work going at Enugu International Airport until investigation( to be announced soon) is completed; similar excuse used to stop Second River Niger Bridge...safety nonsense excuse! When did they start caring about the safety of the Igbos? LOL! The River Niger Bridge suspension started like this with an article of this manner...like joke like joke, it got suspended! The objective as usual...always plotting to jeopardize SE economic gateway...to render the Enugu International Airport potential useless, encouraging Igbos to use Lagos and Abuja Airports...enrich their state tax coffers. Any attempt to stop work at Enugu Airport must be resisted by the Igbos! Enough of this nonsense...as I type now, Second Niger Bridge is still suspended going to a year now!
Wicked country. Any attempt to touch this fearless woman that gave Enugu Airport true International status despite all threats on her will be met with venom! education/literacy, I had once had an argument with a Nigerian,I said reasoning is always rational when logicality is applied in any situation. let us ask this question and answer it rhetorically; what will this Government gain as all this revelation is sent to the public, will it not have cover it to suit themselves or they want to use for self esteem and commit their own atrocities? I have asked,if OBJ were thief,at least he had accused Atiku several time that he (atiku) is can't travel to US,and this same Atiku has never accused obj unless for the third time bid.
