No provision of our constitution says is an offence to wear military uniform. Such policy ws put in place to avoid abuse by criminal minded people. That physically challenged person is only doing that to show solidarity with the army.

Few days ago, Buhari spoke with the BBC on the progress of the war. They didn't call it propaganda, rather, they sent one of their reporters to come and verify. That is what I think those who are criticizing the government should do. They should leave the comfort of their homes and go to the North East to verify the veracity of the government claim.

Lai Mohammed went there, he gave an assessment of what he saw, they called it propaganda. On Tuesday last week, Dec 22nd to be precise, an AIT reporter that was attached to the Nigerian Military was a guest of Gbenga Aruleba's Focus Nigeria on AIT. What she said was not different from what Lai Mohammed said.

I know there are many Nigerian journalists out there with the military but the lazy ones are the loudest. They feel comfortable concocting lies and posting it online. And when they are called to verify their lies otherwise packaged as news reports, they shout media clampdown. They have their allies in some jobless and hurting emergency activists that have lost their livelihood since May 29. Anybody that is disputing what is happening in the North East should travel to the place and see things for him/herself. Afterall, seeing is believing.
