Local refining is definitely a step in the right direction, and it's good to see petrol prices lower than in neighbouring countries. But ₦815–₦820 per litre is still very high for the average Nigerian struggling with the cost of living. Comparing with other countries is fine, but let’s also focus on making fuel more affordable locally. Transparency in pricing and more competition in refining will help us get there.
