The Senate should no longer be an elective office .

The traditional rulers (first class ones), should be the ones overseeing and vetoing bills passed by the House of Plebs aka House of Reps.

The Senate should be renamed to House of Chiefs like what was the case in the old western region.

The House of Plebs should also double as Local govt chairmen.

If this is done, thugs and lowlifes won't be voted as LG chairmen but renowned and seasoned people will be the only choice.

Members from a particular state should also double as their state representatives.

So a House of Rep member will also be the LG boss and state representative .

The convening of the house in Abuja will be done on periodic intervals .

Governors that currently bully LG chairmen, State Reps and even members of the Federal Parliament will not dare such again as all House of Rep members can impeach him at either the state or National level.
