I have downloaded all the garmin software, i jst need the map file and 5800XM is gps fone. i would'nt mind meeting you to get the file since we both resides in lagos. thanks in anticipation.

i have reset the language to english with my own 5800 but it seems the phone cannot be updated OTA because of the product code on it. it shows no update available and their is an update. how do i update the firmware may be it will change the product code to my region?

I download all apps from Ovi store via my Mozilla Firefox.
1.Create an account with http://store.ovi.com
2.Choose phone model
3.Search for application and click the icon
4.When the details come up,click send to friend.
5.When the new page opens,go to the address bar and change ''sendtofriend'' to ''download''.
6.Hit the Enter key and Firefox pulls down the file for you.
I've gotten all apps from Angry Birds to NFS Shift to Chess Classics through this method.
I'll upload the application when the network improves.Please,bear with me and MTN.

Guy,that thing works without GPRS.I installed the Nigeria Maps and deactivated the internet connection.Check your settings and stop the Ovi maps application from going online during startup.Besides,5800 has free navigation.I wonder what the problem is.Could you please expantiate?
