The Nigerian approach to reality shows is kinda strange,unlike how it is in other parts of the world.Its not about the best or most deserving housemate, but probably a poverty stricken housemate ,who they believes needs the money most.Regardless of whether the other housemates outperform the person or not

Where "ugly-looks" or "poverty" induced-pity (usually a cause for bandwagon) for come from? Those housemates built their fan bases purely from their various actions in the house.

Of course, Laycon is smart, but his looks and his strategic portrayal of being a "rejectee" by a hottie as a result of his looks majorly won him bandwagon of supporters who are like him or could relate to his story.
