Hi guys,

I am an intending applicant for this programme. My IELTS exam certificate will be expiring in Jan 2012. But, i am rounding off my master program in a Naija uni by oct.,this year. i want to boast my points by applying as a master degree holder.
My worry is the validity of the IELTS certificate. Does anyone in the house know how this works. what is the latest time to apply based on ones IELTS CERTIFICATE VALIDITY. Genuine contribution will be highly apprecaited

Human Resources Management is not on the present list of eligible occupations but by the end of this month a new list will be out. My hubby is actually the principal applicant But i am the one doing all the arrangements especially internet information. No agents at all. The cic website is self explanatory.

I am thinking of applying for the canada permanent visa for skilled wokers. i am an IT professional and i studied microbiology but my profession is not among the 38 areas that can apply for the program. also, i dont have the recommended amount in my bank statement. how do i go about it? please i need suggestions

did u write gmat or gre before gotting admission into university of lethbridge? your reply is needed


The admission i got in Lethbridge is not for masters. I did not write gmat or gre. It is undergraduate. They call it management as a second degree and it is meant for peeps with a first degree. I contacted the school for Masters but was advised to go for the undergraduate option as i wont be accepted into a masters program with a 2.2 degree.

I just got admitted to Memorial a few mins ago. I applied for MS Computer Science and was recommended for the Course/Project Route with Work Term instead of the Thesis Route which I originally applied for (maybe they think I ain't got enough research potential or I've got too much work/professional experience, na dem sabi).

Bad news is I ain't getting any funding but then there's a compulsory one-semester paid internship which i find attractive for canadian experience. Good news is that tuition is below 6k for the entire 20-month program!!!

I know it could take a few more weeks for Offer Letter to reach me in Nigeria, possibly early or mid-June. Do you guys think it will still be feasible to apply for a study permit by then?
