I use a tecno phantom z and I dont see anything wrong with it,infact I have been using it for over a year now and its absolutely rugged and nice,nigerian so much believe in brand names that they dont want to try something else,phantom z is a far improvement from their low end fones.....

The foolish ones will say pdp has failed when in actual sense APC is the new PDP,with all the defection of pdp members to apc,what does dat make apc?and the masses keep falling for their tricks and killing themselves for nothing,anyway I wish nigeria a peacely governorship election.

Why are the apc always on pdp's case,instead use your time to strategize and prepare for the elections,everyday pdp this pdp that,if you know a jammer is coming into the country why not quietly catch the consignment with picture and video evidence before making it known to the public.instead of this baseless propaganda.and pdp too are not left out of this baseless and useless propaganda,well in the end,only gullible nigerians will take any politician seriously...

As the elections draw closer,the battle of words between the APC and the PDP intensify.Stories of bribery and mischief,accusations and counter accusations from the parties,and everyday I come on nairaland I hear people's opinion on the matter,those that support PDP and those that support APC.And one thing I have noticed is,once the news favours a particular party its supporters will agree that the news is genuine,but when the news doesn't favour them,then its a fake news.These politicians deceive us every four years with sweet talks and empty promises,buy our conscience with bags of salt and a thousand naira note,trick us that they are better than their political rivals when in actual fact,they are one and the same.When I was growing up,my teacher use to say,we are the leaders of tomorrow,now I am grown and the same people who were the leaders in my time are still recycling themselves and are still the leaders now,so the question is;When will my tomorrow come?when will we as the younger generation have the opportunity to become leaders,when will we be able to open our minds and explore our horizon,we should be able to input our fresh knowledge into the system and impact lives,instead of clamouring for a change that sincerely may not come until our generation takes hold of the mantle of leadership from the older generation.But this generation doesn't think like that,they prefer to criticize what others are doing,and accept whatever lies they hear all in the name of being a supporter,and if this continues the change we are calling for will never come.....

Well said Sir , next year will be key for a lot of OEMS , Samsung's major problem to me is that The S5 did not cannibilize the S4 , hence their current issues with sales .
The market is over saturated with Samsung devices .

The phantom z marked a new ground for tecno . however I did not like the design that much . It looked like an iPhone .

But I give them props for the phantom A and A plus .

When you have the time kindly google the one plus one , this is what I expect from tecno next .

Sadly with the devaluation of the naira I fear this will spoil their plans .

I checked out the one plus one,impressive specs,with phones like these,soon the so called big brands will soon bite the dust.....

Chuckky I see you , however unfortunately tecno got it wrong , the S 4 's drop in price to 55k was unexpected no one saw it coming . So most consumers would opt to purchase the s4.

Its unfortunate but take nothing away from tecno , I still believe there's a lot more to come from them.

I used to think people just buy brands too, but man you can't beat quality of today's flagship phones . thruth be told apart from bells n whistles they seemingly to the same thing .

well said on some points you raised,but if you ask me,i think the s4 dropped their price cos competiton was becoming fierce,i bought my phantom Z a month and three weeks ago,and the price has refused to drop,u know why?cos the phone is awesome.........from the dolby sound to the battery life,to speed and all the way to design,my bro if I should be honest,i dont regret buying this phone one bit..

I think when it comes to battery life,few can compare to tecno phantom z,on standby it can last you more than a whole day and then some,just that ppl prefer high branded phones......in my opinion phantom z is an amazing phone..

I have a simple solution for you,just buy her the same things she bought you,but different brands eg buy her a different kind of noodles,milk etc...............lol

Hey guy,pls I need some that has some knowledge abt this,i bought a tecno phantom z sometime ago,any time I download a big game,it will run but the controllers on the touchscreen wud refuse to work,wud rooting correct this problem?and if I had to root,wud I need to backup my apps?cos I dnt know how to,pls help

Kindly outline five special things about this phone, in terms of functionality.

1)it comes with amoled screen which makes viewing really beautiful.
2)there is no lagging at all when you open different apps,thanks to the 2gb ram.
3)the camera picture quality is really nice altho the nightvision isnt too sharp.
4)i think its the first tecno that you can actually update(cos I was able to update mine).
5)the sound from the music player is very refined and the earpiece sound is off the hook.

Its easy for people to overlook tecno cos its not as big a company as samsung,htc etc,but believe me tecno phantom z is simply amazing,from design to layout,gaming and music,to speed and battery life simply stunning.i bought this phone sometime ago and believe me I am really enjoying it.......
