Yeah, I agree with u, it's supposed to be a forever pledge, or rather vow. Same with the Christian marriage, it is supposed to be a forever pledge/vow too: monogamous & faithful, then 'why go into it if they can't cope' ?

Third the fact is he can't divorce her after birth or anytime soon. He has wanted a baby since and has gotten one so he likely loved that woman and when the baby is born the love will grow.
