Double tap? Na today I dey use my phone? I said 'just tap it once', as in to focus on an image. This started after the update, so don't say it's not a bug. I've been taking pictures with this device for close to a year now.

All these I don't face because I use the same device. So it shouldn't be like I am making theories and I am pretty sure I updated to this ROM before you.

And for the camera issue it is a simple toggle that if you had gone to your camera settings you would have seen.

Arrrggghhhhhh!!! Discovered another one again. While taking a picture, when I tap on the screen to focus on an object or person, the phone takes a shot instead of focusing on that image.

Prior to the update, my MTN 4g was really fast. I could up to 6MBs but right now, when it's on 4g, the fastest I can get is 100kb. Although, 3g is faster than the 4g. If I fix this, I'm never going to update again.

Network has nothing to do with update. MTN network fluctuations of recent is to blame.

Did you double tap instead of single tap? That isn't a Bug

I should download over 3gb worth of data again, knowing fully well that it might not solve it? Besides, the offline download I did got corrupted after the installation, so I couldnt use the file.

Factory reset was another option I gave you.

I tried portrait mode but it didn't work.
It only worked when snapping selfie. However what I needed was having the Background Blur effect when snapping with back camera.

You are missing something.

Even RN10 PRO using the normal mode blurs out some things that are not in focus.

You can even take a human subject normal shot and you can still edit the blur by changing the focal length manually from gallery.

@atheistandproud this one needs tutorials on how to use portrait mode

What is Portrait Mode for? Even phones made 4 years ago by Xiaomi has portrait mode.

If you have been following this thread you will know that I always advice people to download updates this big manually and install manually because of network instability.

You are make a wrong complaint. Dark mode works. The complain should be it doesn't work well for some apps.

Update wasn't what spoilt your phone. Redmi 9T issue remains a hardware problem
