So we had a situation earlier today involving one of us OlayinkaJnr, it wasn't brought here, apologies to anyone who might feel offended.
It started like this.
As posted on the Telegram channel
Good afternoon guys, one of us really need your help (prayer and financially).
We've been going back and forth in the hospital and they've decided to perform a Cesarian section on my wife. Checks shows she's 10 months and a week in already.
I've deposited 65k out of the requested 120k. Remain 55k.
No amount is too small and will be appreciated. Prayers will also go a long way.
Looking forward to your assistance.
Thank you guys.
I plead on all to help in whichever way you can.
As at the time of writing we were able to raise a total of ₦105,000 through Telegram and WhatsApp for our brother and friend thanks to People's Generosity and love for humanity
The caesarian operation was successful and his wife was delivered of a Bouncing Baby Girl. Mother and Daughter are in good health.
Our brother requested I post his appreciation here as he is encountering Network issues.
Good evening everyone.
Thank you so much for standing by me when all hopes seems lost. I have to say, I woke up this morning with just 1,720NGN and I was determined to go to the hospital like that.
As God will have it, I got an alert of a field work I did for the past 2 months and I used it as deposit.
I'm grateful to everyone here for not putting me to shame. Till this moment, everyone is surprised how I managed to raise the remaining balance and the initial deposit. Thanks to you guys.
There's a reason they say to speak up. Thanks to everyone for assisting financially when I spoke up and to those that assisted me with prayers, I'm glad to let you know that your prayers were answered and for that, I'm grateful.
My wife and family sends their regards. Once she's strong enough to speak, I'll send a voice note of her appreciation.
The Olayinka family appreciates everyone.
Once again thanks to everyone who answered us when we reached out and also to those who still kept giving despite reaching the goal and our brother saying it is enough, may you never lack.
We will always say in here we started as a group of random individuals who grew to become a family. May it continue for a long time to come. |

Subtlelad: My Redmi note 9s suddenly started showing this black screen. When unlocked or double tapped, a faint light illuminating the dark screen shows.
I've tried rebooting but each time I press & hold the power button, it vibrates with a bright dark screen then goes back to the black dimmed screen.
It started this morning and before it did, the screen was working fine. It's just sudden.
Please has anyone witnessed this before and what can I do? Take it to a service center. I feel it is a hardware issue. |

manuel4real: Thier phone cost more on aliexpress. In india note 10pro sells for 88,000 but on aliexpress it sells about 103,000
If you are familiar with 1688 or any chinese website you can visit them to get the true price of the phone.
The difference in price is outrageous!
My advice, wait let it be released in Nigeria. Never compare prices of phones in China and India with any other place. Indians benefit from the fact that their phones are made in India. Global phones are made in China, so when you factor in logistics, Certifications, Licenses and other stuffs it is bound to be more expensive |

maballack: its not an issue of Appreciate , the reason why nigeria is where it is ....sensationalism and sentiments
I asked a simple question , are you saying the shipping charge paid is not meant to cover for it , and is this how it operates in other countries you know of. likewise you should not complain when customs steal goods because in your words "na whr person de work nai e de chop" and they are also not paid so well
A charge can only possibly come up if they deliver to your house address and you opted for such service.
Handling charge as you claim is paid if you are posting an item not receiving ( which means its not a recipients bill)
Ask yourself why would i pay handling charge of 200 naira in lagos and also someone in Port harcourt also pays same 200 handling charge...
using your example of distance
IPMC to a Lagos Post office IPMC to a Port Harcourt Post office
I bet its same cost if that is the factor right
You are only been myopic with your calculations to tips because you are buying for personal use a reason why the country is where it is
The Government you claim is dead is you and i and so long as you support for such you are the one further killing the system...
Change is more of a mindset than an action....
While at it look up Systemic Corruption.. The handling fees is not a tip but charges backed by the government. In some post offices you see the official flier there with the charges according to weight. |
