You want a compact phone below 6" and 2020 45k should not be your budget. iPhone SE 2020, iPhone 12 mini, Google pixel 4a and 5 should be where you start from but then they don't meet your 4kmah plus expectations, but reason it self how do you expect a phone to have over 4kmah battery in a small shell?

If you cannot adjust your budget, adjust your demands and expectations.

In that case at 45k the phones you can get are Redmi 9a or 8a.

Also if you are still in MIUI 11, they will give you a full ROM to download

The redmi K series have always been exclusively for the Chinese market.

Most people find it difficult to separate the three brands. Funny enough some retailers also contribute to the confusion.

Some people will call Mi Note 10/lite as Redmi Note 10/lite and so on.

Thanks Bros....I got this yesterday after I had formatted it . I was banned throughout yesterday thats why I couldn't respond.
I did the reset and it's ok now but he's not having network problems with the phone. The two sims are not bringing services at all, it show the network names at some point but no network.


Pls what can be done to rectify it ?

This thing has given me a whole lot of problem

I believed I layer everything out in steps in such a way even a primary school pupil can digest, assimilate and follow.

1. I specifically said get a link and use a Download Manager (You can check what Download managers do) reasons because we are dealing with a Zip file disruptions can corrupt the archive which is why your OTA download is always restarting. I further went ahead to point you in the direction of where to get the pro versions of two of such download managers.

2. To make this easier for you, I provided you with a link to the ROM you have been trying to download.

3. Obviously you have to download the update file before following the "How to Manually Update".

If you still don't get it, I don't know how else you want it explained.

Download managers have been existing even before we had smartphones on PCs and the advantages are endless.

My redmi note 7 has consumed upto 5gb of data without updating.

Just slow and stay at 18%.

I'm on MIUI 11 , updating to 12.

I don't even need to the update, just that I can't type properly without updating

Next time when faced with large updates to avoid data wastage because network fluctuations, get the full ROM link download with a download manager like ADM Pro or 1DM+(check Revdl) and after downloading you install manually.

How to manually update..

Go to Settings > About phone > System update.

If tapping the 3-dot button shows the “Choose update package” option, click on that and choose the downloaded ROM from your internal storage or SD card. In case you don’t find the “Choose update package” option from the 3-dot menu, tap on the MIUI 11/12 logo inside the “System update” page several times. A prompt will then show that additional updater settings are now available. Now you can tap on Choose update package and select the MIUI 11/12 update file

That’s it. The system will start decrypting the file and install it automatically for you. Wait for it to finish the process, which may take 10-30 mins

Data should be on during the decryption process

Except you want to pay for the apps go to playstore otherwise a simple Google search should lead you to revdl or rexdl.

If you don't copy and paste (Remember to remove spaces as instructed) how will the download manager magically pick it, when already android 10 doesn't allow apps to read your clipboard?
