abdsamad:
You didn't sign out of your mi account on the device sir. The buyer has been unable to reach you.

Pls reply asap

That is just wrong, not only should he sign out he is also supposed to go to i.mi.com to delete the device from his account.

ChocolateHigh:
please, which one should I go for between note 9s and note 8pro?
Tell me which one is overall better if you are the one buying

RN8 Pro should be compared with RN9 Pro and I would pick the RN9 Pro.

theoneJabulani:
so in all, its better to save up to 9s than buying the note 9?

If you cannot afford and you are a first timer you can get the RN9 but if you can save up, you won't regret the RN9S as well. It is a win win both ways.

theoneJabulani:
RN9 cost 78k for its 3/64 variant while 9s cost 92k for 4/64. Now do you think the 14k increase is ok, considering that the only upgrade is the extra ram and a better chipset (especially when the buyer is moving from a transsion smartphone and is not really into mobile gaming)?

Upgrade is more than that, the battery life is better, the camera outputs are better, the screen is far better, so the difference in price is very well justified.

Do you know that the Chipset is far more than gaming. It is far more efficient in battery conservation, has a better imaging processing unit.

theoneJabulani:
why do you say so?

Apart from Battery, screen size and design the others the difference is not wide, the camera setup is almost the same apart from the 5Mp macro lens, the other camera hardware are the same.

So if you are an RN8 user RN9 is not much of an upgrade but the RN9s is. The main sensor despite been same 48MP is different and the Display of the RN9S and RN9 Pro is far better.

Obascoetubi:
Why redmi note 9 pro max not in nigeria?

Because it was made for Indians and Indians only. What we have is Redmi Note 9 Pro and the only difference between it and pro Max is selfie camera and the difference is not mind blowing to lose sleep over

Somebody go still come ask, very soon if care is not taken, even on this same page.

KanyeSouthWest:
Good one Bro... So do you think its a Proper Upgrade to RN8?... I'm currently using RN8 and wanna change my device, don't have money for Note 9S... Should I go for Note 9? Or just stick to my Note 8?. Thanks

If you are using RN8, RN9S should be what you look up to, save for it.

Genius43 please what could be wrong?

When I was about to sleep around 5am I set my phone on airplane mode so that no % would leave it but, when I picked up the phone this morning about 12% was gone.

Is there anyway to stop this?

5-12% usually leave when I pick it up in the morning.

Which phone is this?

sajmark:
Good morning guys, Today is my birthday!!! I for do giveaway but life nova balance ... Take few seconds from your precious time to say a silent prayer for me.

Happy birthday bro.

harry2sexy:
Good morning everyone, please i need help with this settings attached below.

Every time i turn off my phone so i can sleep, whenever i turn it back on, #50 is always deducted from my balance.

Please what does it mean and how can o disable it?

The settings that says find phone?

That is find my device. It supposed to deduct once except you have a habit of changing your SIM cards. Your solution is on the Xiaomi Compilation thread

postdigger:
Boss u dey come cool off for here too?

Yes o.

There are two players in that house Nengi and Kiddwaya.

semid4lyfe:
If it ain't working don't force it.

This Ozo & Nengi ship can't sail.

Their conversation is so bland, uninteresting and Ozo is not really feeling her. He obviously vibes better with Dorathy.....

If Tobi and Cee C's convo that used to be draining is an entertainment I will pick 10k times over this depleting ozone layer of a canoe still under construction in a confused state.

SlawG:
Baba abeg nor vex, you fit help me with link for gcam for R8? Na beg i dey. Thanks

Next time use the compilation thread or the search box. I can't continue getting banned because of repeated posting of links.

xclusive43:
i think i fall in band 28 only
Is the a Normal version better than the T?

Nope, they are almost the same phones with some differences.

Use the Nairaland search box search for "differences between Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8T

xclusive43:
The regular doesn't support glo 4g

If you are in areas with band 3 it does but if your area is with only band 28, you are out of luck.

sajmark:
suit yourself, but what was the essence of coming here to ask if you weren't gonna update?

The characters we meet here everyday. He should wait for Xiaomi founder Lei Jun to give him the go ahead before he updates. As a new user update should be the first thing to do if there is any before you even start installing apps.

Acermoon:
People are receiving miui12... My redmi note8 pro have not receive the update.... Is my phone the last born of redmi note8 pro?

We have said it severally that the update was rolled back and if you get mind, side-load it and face the worst that can happen.

Jay14:
I am not updating until I see testimonies because I don't want story, like battery drain network is ........

You will stay there and your mates will be in MIUI 13 and you will remain waiting for validations. Don't update nobody hold you.

Jay14:
@genius43

This has got to be the most painful L ever. Ended the man's dreams with the last kick of the game. That's gotta hurt.

Sh*t happens, even Lingard himself never thought he would be on the pitch

Beorn:
We won, baby. We're back to the Champions League.

And some people said we would end up 5th, God pass them.

Meanwhile Lingard just broke his man's heart

Abkid:
Please how much is xiaomi redmi go (new one) and where can i get it

That phone is no longer in the market

seaboyzen:
I need gcam for redmi 9

No GCam Port yet.

sawdi:
Please I'm confused.

Btw redmi 8 and redmi 9 not sure which to go for. Heard Redmi 9 is MTK.

I'm looking for a phone that'll be cool for pubg and also won't start lagging when one opens multiple apps.

My current phone lenovo k5 pro which is a 4gig variant lags a lot n it's not even up to 2 years

Redmi 9 uses Helio G80. It is a better Chipset in terms of gaming compared to the SD 439 on Redmi 8

synticate:
