seaboyzen:
nah you know o
but anything China brand I don't use again.

You said anything made in China abi you no know wetin you type again

seaboyzen:
bye bye to Chinese products
I don't trust anything made in China again.

Yes o, even iPhones are made in China

Ahijo1990:
Chief, what do you mean by Chinese ROM?

What ROM is on Redmi Note 7 Pro.
Share a screenshot of your about phone

Chinese ROM is not an alien term when we talk about Xiaomi.

aezenkwu:
U bought used phone. Come dow to OSHA people have started using it

A used phone with probably a Chinese ROM self.

Ahijo1990:
Please House, I'm having a challenge with my RN7 Pro.

Contacts routinely get wiped from my phone. I've tried saving numbers to simcard, phone memory and Google account all to no avail.

I will have 90 contacts saved, next minute I want to make calls, I'm seeing only 46. It's really frustrating as I can't call people I need to or even identify them when they call.

Please can anyone proffer a solution to this?

Chinese ROM right?

festwiz:
Nah! It's RN9S. Too expensive sha. Man's hoping for $180.

It will be cheaper than that after initial gra gra

Trex4:
Eric okafor:

Rear camera: 48MP Ultra Quad Camera UltraNight Lens -TAIVOS™（TECNO artificial intelligence vision optimization solution)

Choii this is too much nah

Abi is this the same 48mp sensor we've been using since 2019? Or a different one?
Xiaomi users:

Did Tecno tell you their 48Mp and 64Mp sensor come from any of Samsung or Sony?

nadalion:
Are we expecting any new device?

Is that not Redmi Note 9S?

ityP:
There are two Note 7

That variant will probably not come to Nigeria. It will stop in India and UAE.

bravesoul247:
oh! Didn't know they released any device yet. You see what I tell you people, other brands launch devices but nobody knows now Tecno launched and everybody knew. What does It tell you? Tecno is already an household name

You didn't know because the much you know of tech revolves around Nigeria. There is a lot happening out there broader your horizons.

ityP:
Infinix s6 pro don comot?

Even hearing of Infinix Note 7 and Hot 9. This guys are messing up their timeline.

ityP:
It is o. Some other YouTube guy mentioned the phone taking 16 mp regular shots. It's not 18 mp

It still doesn't make the processor suitable for the sensor

Damritoh:
I don't understand the recent fuss about Xiaomi devices not having call recording feature

My RN7 still has that

Newer global devices from the Mi 9t Pro

Trex4:
always surprises me how GSM arena called the selfies from a whole 40mp(Infinix S6 pro) "uninspiring". But they said the selfies from the note 8's 13mp were excellent. Some people will now come and tell us that Infinix's selfies are better than Xiaomi. Nonsense and overexposure.

Hehehehehe

ityP:
Probably a mistake by Henry if I'm not mistaken. Should be 16MP shots

Not sure it is. It is like Samsung's Galaxy S20 Ultra shooting default of 12Mp instead of 27Mp

ityP:
16MP. I think it does

It takes images in 18Mp default. Watch Henry's review so I don't understand the binning they did because it doesn't add up.

ityP:
Pixel binning if I'm not mistaken. I kinda think it's the same thing these tecno guys are following

Binning to 18Mp, na still doesn't add up.

eby001:
can't see the difference in terms of contrast n sharpness, I had to check again, but for 16:9 looked zoomed in

Another reason 4:3 is better it can be resized in several ways without really distorting the image but not so much in 16:9. I used to be a slave to 16:9 till I observed the differences.

I stick to 4:3 but use 16:9 for landscape shots, it gives a wider field of view but normal and portraits I prefer 4:3

ityP:
Why did Redmi note 7 come with a 48MP? I thought SD 660 doesn't support 48MP sensors. I'm just curious o

They manipulated it. People attacked them for it last year. That is why the RN8 used a Processor that had a native support for a 48Mp sensor.

bravesoul247:
Never have I heard that a phone was launched online. Tecno paved the way

All phones launched in the past month from top tech companies like Huawei, Xiaomi, Oppo, Realme have all been online. Tecno is a late comer.

eby001:
No vex, even if you do, you can't vex reach this guy

@guru in the house, how true is p35 can't support cam more 25mp(single) or 13/13mp(dual). If true, it is a dubious slamming a phone such a chip with unnecessary numerical mp camera. That's a conman strategy

It can't, I even posted it on my status yesterday.

sureteeboy:
Been long I've seen this kind of SOT on my Redmi Note 5.
Accubattery app reports that the battery life has detoriated to about 3,400 mAh and the battery just lasts for about 6 to 7 hours now.
This time around, I just switched to 3G network and used it mainly for browsing, reading pdfs and watching movies and I got this SOT.

Modified - I thought I took the SOT screenshot initially, but I didn't. So, I just took it after charging the phone from 4% to 6%. But it was originally at 10 hrs, 45 mins

Nice. But some people don't want to hear anything like battery depreciation

festwiz:
Lol. Tecno and Infinix be using P35 from Flagship to budget. Same performance you will get in Spark, you will get in Phantom and Camon.

The RAM is the difference, the difference is the RAM or maybe screen resolution

eby001:
Camera type: Sony imx
Motion: off
Frame: 16:9
HDR+

Apart from landscape, 4:3 is more preferable. Especially when uploading on social platforms

awoo47:
so we shld be expecting miui 12?
or na 11 we go stop?

MIUI 12, MIUI 13 and possibly MIUI 14 if you are still with your phone then.

If Redmi Note 5 that came out in 2018 is getting MIUI 12 why won't MI 9Lite.

You guys really undermine Xiaomi o.

The Mi 6 is still getting support go and check the release year

fantilopezzy:
u guys shouldn't base on bench mark scores, yes the g90t is actually a lil bit better in antutu and the rest but in real life the difference is just Little
i watched a video comparison between mi9t and redmi note 8 pro gaming
during normal gameplay g90t saw 5 fps more increase in gameplay but couldn't maintain it, the only main difference is in pubg where u can actually increase the graphica while in sd730 you need gfx tool
but still the play same.
when it comes to emulator the g90t hold nothing against sd 730
sd730 out perform g90t when it comes to emulators with more and constant fps
i think sd730 is actually better than sd720g
cus the gaming capability of the sd720g is nothing to write home about when compared to sd730

Not really true about the SD720G.

fantilopezzy:
when compared to the likes of
mi9t and y9
i think the camon 15 pro or premier is a mess
except for battery and bigger display
the mi9t is still the best pop up midrange phone u can buy this 2020
amoled screen, nice build, 48mp sony camera
sd 730 etc

Hello the Camon 15 Premier comes with 4000Mah battery. And Mi 9T has one of the best battery backup out there

awoo47:
anyone who has updated dere mi9lite to android q shld pls give me any notable difference
cos it's exactly d same, i can't epp but think xiaomi scam us

MIUI 11 have already brought most android 10 features that is why we always say in Xiaomi MIUI updates is more important than Android updates.

Mark9854:
this comment had me scared ooo, I thought oga has abandoned ship overnight. good morning sir.

It was sarcasm...

Good morning Sir
