Akonice007:
Pls, can someone enlighten more on when China stores are going to resume back from their holidays. I order for an item and about a week ago, my order has not been shipped and when I contacted the seller, he said until when they resumed back from holiday. Can I cancel my order and when I do so, when will my money return back to me?

2 weeks time.(Chinese Holiday + Coronavirus containment period)

Even if you cancel your order the process of refund might not start till the same period they will resume shipping.

And before you made the order you didn't take time to read the holiday disclaimer posted by all sellers.

willsonsemilore:
Which one should I use

The first one.

willsonsemilore:
Do i need the xml file, cos I'm not able to download it

Yes. I have shared the link to XML files for both RN7 and RN8 severally. Look through my posts

Boyco:
Can you please share the link to ur mi9t gcam ...mine is always crashing and deleting pictures taken previously

As for deleting pictures you enabled save to DCIM.

As for crashing the GCam Port is most likely not compatible with your device

BoboKush:

I don't know what you mean by best, but I have tested it and it is very good

Olonade02:

Just check a page or two back. I responded to someone just yesterday. Always check some pages back.

If I keep posting links I do get banned

Please check your GCam app info. I want to confirm if I'm using the same version. This is my GCam info

It is the same thing

leTrizzle:
I installed and applied config, just don't know if I did right.

Then you are good to go
The rest lies on how good your photography skills are

Biafrareform:
Still asking . How do I stop donwloaded videos from appearing in my camera row.

This is very annoying

Have you checked gallery settings?

LeiderJa:
Men dem and ladies dem

I have a problem. I recently bought a k20 pro premium and this thing came with chinese rom.

i cant import my contacts and i cant do anything google based. i cant even use apps like truecaller. It's very annoying. Mandarin everywhere cry cry

So I have come to consult the genius oracles on how I can change this thing to global rom. Thank You

Start by Unlocking your bootloader.

https://c.mi.com/thread-1857937-1-0.html

After that bosses dey to attend to you

leTrizzle:
OK. Meaning it would still take shots but not like the dope ones most of us installed the app for?

Photography is more than just hardware and a good software. Hope you installed your GCam and applied Config file properly sha?

Move to the tweaking thread you will attended to properly there

leTrizzle:
How would one know if the config file is applied properly?

How do I answer this question now.

It should work fine and produce good output if you add your little skills and follow basic photography rules

chrisja:
So the recommendation is I turn off network when not in use? Mehn, that's a though one...

Or switch to a network with better stability

chrisja:
I have turned off Bluetooth and WiFi Scanning and below is the Battery usage for today

Network is a major culprit to your Battery backup

willsonsemilore:
Wow, gcam on my 8t is not as clear as this, which version is yours

I have tested 7.0.009 V13 on that device and it works fine when you apply the Config file properly.

jesse8048:
Thanks boss, you've given me all i need. I've read through the comparison but didn't notice the notification light absent from 8T.

They didn't indicate but from real user or personal hands on experience the notification led is not present on the Redmi Note 8T

Hennyola:
Thanks, I had it disabled before when I first discovered the glitch, dunno when I toggled it on again.

Is there a way to recover the deleted pictures?

Sadly no way to recover them

jesse8048:
Please what's the major difference between redmi note 8, note 8T and note 8pro

Redmi Note 8T has the almost the same hardware as Redmi Note 8 except for addition of Glo's LTE band 28, NFC. Longer dimension and absence of Notification LED.

Redmi Note 8 Pro has, MTK Helio G90T(one of the most powerful mid-range Processor) 64Mp main sensor, 20Mp selfie camera, bigger screen, 4500Mah battery Global LTE Band support amongst others.

You can compare them on Kimovil or GSMARENA

Blackmagic Version 3.0

ORAFA:
How did you watermark your photos?

Snapseed or PicsArt

Hennyola:
Abeg, GCam photos keep deleting pictures taken via the app.

Is there a way around this? I've lost lot of pictures because of this

Note 8T
GCam version: 7.2.014.278150624

You enabled save to DCIM. Go and disable it.
