You don't get the point, no one is against rooting. If you know your way around it, fantastic. The problem here is people talk about MIUI and the redmi cameras as being thrash, unusable, poo etc which makes the average person on here immediately wanting to root and do whatever on their phone without considering the risks should they find themselves in tight spots. A separate thread has been created for modding etc.

You can't buy a Hyundai i10 and expect it to perform like a Toyota Prado.

Camera was not omitted in my submission, the note 5/6 is way better, the difference is clear, both front and rear cameras. I can deduce you a 'notch' lover, you can go with the note 5 pro Note 6 Pro then, otherwise both are essentially same phones.

Vendor rom because the CN in ODCCNFH stands for China but Global was written.

Check if bootloader is unlocked http://en.miui.com/thread-279195-1-1.html

Then download fastboot rom and flash the official China rom. No global rom for mi6x

Seems a hard choice to make. Both devices look similar and amazing, save for the front camera and then the notch. Note 5 wins it for me. Thanks for the link.
